I hope that you enjoy finding out about our learning, achievements and the exciting events taking place throughout the year. At The Brow C.P. School we aim to be a successful learning community by understanding and celebrating everyone's uniqueness and striving for excellence in everything we do.

All members of the community, including children, parents, staff and governors are valued, respected and play a key role in supporting our school's aims and ethos.Providing a safe, stimulating and welcoming learning environment where everyone is motivated to achieve and feel secure and happy, has always been at the core of our school ethos and continues to be one of our strengths.
Services
This term our Nursery class welcomes new children to join our family we hope that they will be very happy here at The Brow. All parents will have planning and activities emailed out to them so that children can complete activities at home. Each week we will learn a new Nursery Rhyme. We hope that by the end of the year that the children will know at least 38 Rhymes which will be a good start for Reading.
This is our class page where you will find out what we have been learning and enjoying in school. Remember to use your Tapestry account for regular updates of your child's learning achievements. The following documents will help you understand our half term topic and give you an insight into your child's learning.
Welcome to our Year One class page, here you will find lots of information about our adventures in class. The children will bring home reading books and reading records daily and we ask that the children read at least five times a week with a signed comment. Children's books will be checked on a Monday and changed in the school library on a Friday.
Ms Kirkbride, Ms Leith and Mrs Forster are excited to be your teacher and teaching assistants this school year. In computing, we are learning about connecting computers. While in PSHE, we are exploring our strengths, skills and interests and in RE, we are learning what 'love your neighbour' really means.
