The family of St Ambrose is one in which each member is valued and respected for who they are.
We aim to encourage and support the personal growth of each individual through living in our community, which is rooted in Christ and inspired by the Gospels. Our school is a very special place, successful and full of creative energy. Our thriving and happy children are at the centre of all we do.

Services
At St. Ambrose the intent of our curriculum is to provide a high-quality history education that will help pupils gain a coherent knowledge and understanding of Britain's past and that of the wider world. Our history curriculum aims to develop pupils skills in enquiry, analysis, evaluation, and argument.
Show respect by being friendly to everyone, looking after everything that God has created and treating everyone as we would like to be treated ourselves. Provide a high quality education which enables everyone to reach their full potential within a caring and supportive environment. Enable our children to acquire an excellent religious education, through a well taught and resourced Come and See programme.
At St Ambrose we provide a curriculum through which we live out our Mission to 'Follow the example of Jesus'. Our curriculum is designed to enable every child to thrive through holistic provision that is there to find and nurture every child's gifts and talents whilst building their capacity to tackle challenges both in school and throughout life.
Here in St Ambrose, we believe that every child deserves the best possible start in life and the support that enables them to fulfil their potential. Children develop quickly in the early years and a child's experiences between birth and age five have a major impact on their future life chances. A secure, safe and happy childhood is important in its own right.
At St. Ambrose we believe that art is a vital part of children's education and has a significant and valuable role in the curriculum, as well as the enrichment opportunities we offer our pupils through trips, visitors and residential opportunities. The art curriculum will develop children's critical abilities and understanding of their own and others' cultural heritages through studying a diverse range of male and female artists.
