Thank you for visiting St. Oswald's CE Primary school website. We are a friendly, caring and nurturing school where all are valued. The children are at the heart of all we deliver through the curriculum we teach, the after school clubs we offer and the wider opportunities we make available. The values of the Christian Faith underpin the ethos of the school and provide our pupils with a secure sense of belonging. We have a dedicated and committed staff team who strive to provide the best possible opportunities for all of our pupils. Our core Christian values are Community, Service, Justice, Creation, Friendship, Thankfulness, Peace, Hope and Perseverance.
Services
In history we follow the National Curriculum statements which are broken down into Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. We aim to provide a high quality history education that will help pupils gain a coherent knowledge and understanding of Britain's past and that of the wider world. Our curriculum is designed to inspire pupils' curiosity to know more about the past.
At St. Oswald's we pride ourselves on being a friendly, caring and nurturing school where all are valued as God's children. Our children's well-being is at the heart of all we do. The values of the Christian Faith underpin the ethos of our school and enable to stive for our vision for all. We have a strong St. Oswald's community where all valued as unique individuals with their own strengths and interests.
The PFA are a group of volunteers who help to raise funds for the school. The group is made up of parents and friends and we are always looking for new members to come along and join in. Whether you have lots of time or only a little we value all who feel they can contribute to fundraising for the school.
St Oswald's CE Primary School has the Christian faith at it's heart. Our Christian values are at the root of all that we do and endeavour to achieve. Through basing our vision on the bible teaching above we will promote an inclusive school community, rooted in mutual respect, understanding and kindness towards others. To develop resilience and a love of learning, which will enable the children to achieve their aspirations. Our chosen Christian values support us in achieving our overall vison for our school.

No help in lessons, no discipline for bullies and of course aggressive staff .
