Longmoor Community Primary School is more than a school - it's a welcoming and inclusive learning environment. We believe that every child in our care should be given the opportunity to excel. Pupils are encouraged to be engaged, articulate and independent learners who are empowered to succeed.
Longmoor children make their own decisions about their learning, take responsibility for their own behaviour and take pride in completing their work to a high standard. We provide a stimulating and enriching curriculum that engages pupils and fires pupils' imaginations. They persevere when they meet a challenge and see mistakes as learning opportunities.

Services
We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, with a strong emphasis on teaching your children to become independent learners. Our nursery has recently had a makeover, with freshly painted walls and some changes to our learning environment. Our team is led by Mrs. Gough - who is also the Special Educational Needs (SEN) Co-ordinator.
Welcome to the Reception page, where you will find information about the curriculum we are following, what we're learning in school and lots of photographs. We do this through lots of different activities, including group work and continuous indoor and outdoor child initiated play. Our teachers help us to develop our independence and interests.
Here you will find lots of information and pictures of all the exciting things we have been up to. You will be able to keep up to date with what we are learning in school and the curriculum that we are following. We will post our current study web which will show which topics we are covering this term.
Welcome to our Year 3 page, we are looking forward to working together on lots of interesting topics this year. We'll also post any letters home here, to help you keep track of what's going on.
We really appreciate all of the hard work that you put into helping us learn too, and if you have anything to share or if you have concerns that you wish to discuss with one of our class teachers, please don't hesitate to get in touch; you can make an appointment through the School Office.
