Welcome to our beautiful pub in the heart of the Kent countryside! We're proud to share all that our community-owned country inn has to offer, not just a friendly, warm interior, but freshly prepared food, our own hand-crafted ales and a large riverside garden and meadow. The 400 year story of The Farriers Arms could have ended back in 2009 when its doors closed to the public.

That is when a determined group of villagers and friends took on the challenge of bringing this traditional public house back to the epicentre of village life.

They do an excellent Sunday Lunch !!! Service is again excellent and their brew is superb.
You will not go wrong by going for Lunch. Also the restaurant is very airy with good spacing between tables .

We had another great meal at the Farriers Arms.
Shared a starter of pigeon breast that I wished I hadn’t shared! Then a main that was fantastic in presentation and flavour. Finishing with puddings that were as good as the previous courses. Yes, it’s not cheap (in fact the previous week we did the same thing - shared a starter and then had a main and pudding, at The Ivy Tower Bridge and the bills were about the same) however the meal and service was definitely better than we had at The Ivy.

Firstly the good parts.... Reasonable range of food and it tasted good. Located in a lovely part of Kent. Service was acceptable but not exceptional.
Personally I found that it was about 25% too expensive for the size of the portions that finally arrived.

Stopped for a random lunch on way down to Dungeness today and very glad we did. Lovely old pub with several ales on and also their own brewed 1606 which was very good indeed. Wife’s breaded periperi chicken was light and delicious while my scampi in a basket at half the plate price was just the perfect amount. Even though we did not push the boat out on lunch I would expect that if you did, you would not be disappointed. Nice to see a pub brewing its own ale too! Lovely all round and nice garden.

Reserved a table for 2 here late on Sunday afternoon before restrictions lifted and we could sit inside again. Weather was rainy so we ended up in the marquee which was a bit of a shame as we booked here mostly for the views from the garden and although the marquee had windows it's not really the same thing but couldn't be helped. Our topside beef roast and steak and ale pie arrived in pretty good time considering they were pretty busy and were very tasty although the pie was a bit on the small side. The vegetables were excellent, actually properly seasoned and flavourful. Fantastic desserts also

Arrived here to a lovely looking pub! We started off with the tapas for a starter and all I can say is wow it's like a Spanish fiesta on the tongue of incredible quality loved it especially the prawns!! Then for main I opted for the burger and well I'd of got up and done a dance on the table was magnificent! Succulent meat and the onion rings were bloody gorgeous! Highly recommended and tip of the hat to the chef and waiter/waitresses! 👍🏻🕺

Lovely pub. Nice outdoor space, with some covered areas offered. Usually a good selection of drinks, however hadn't received the IPA in the delivery, which is what my husband likes to drink. We had fish finger sandwich & chicken & chorizo ciabatta. Food was fantastic, we had the garden/lunch menu. Some lovely countryside walks around the area to boot. Would highly recommend and will visit again.
