Pretty country pub, with lovely open fires. Plenty of onsite parking. Friendly and welcoming staff. We visited on Sunday, good selection of food available. Enjoyed roast beef and all the usual trimmings. Tables well spaced apart, Covid rules adhered to. Will definitely return.

My husband and I stayed here a couple of weeks ago for two nights and my goodness what a lovely place! The pub is your perfect countryside local - open fires, fantastic landlord & landlady and great staff plus super-friendly locals. What we didn’t quite expect was the first class food. It was amazing and I’m not surprised they’re in the Michelin guide but they deserve a star!! We ate dinner here one night and had different breakfast on our two mornings - everything was perfectly cooked, fresh, local and delicious. The rooms were fabulous. Immaculately clean, beautifully decorated and maintained

My partner and I stayed at the Plough Inn for a one night getaway on a Saturday night. It is a lovely rural pub full of charm, nicely presented, and very friendly staff.
We went for dinner and were very impressed. The food is fantastic with options like pigeon, veil, and steak.
The accomodation was also excellent. A large double bed, bathroom with bath and shower, and mezzanine level area with sofa, table, and TV. The room is finished to a very high standard and was a real treat. We got the breakfast as well which arrived in the morning in a lovely hamper, and everything was superbly done.

Great cosy pub and excellent home cooked food. They served us a "Proper pie" - by which they meant pastry all round (not just the lid) and it was superb. Excellent smart accomodation also,.

Wow wow wow. We stayed on Saturday night and could not find any fault, even with the staff catering for a wedding over the road of 120+ people, the service we received was absolutely top notch. The place is perfect. The staff were incredibly friendly and couldn't do enough for you. The food is amazing and to an amazingly high standard. You can mix and match between a la carte and normal menu. Vast range of drinks to choose from. Superb rooms which are 5*. Two floors, shower that is heaven. Even down to providing a torch, umbrella and night lights on the bath!!! They have thought of everything.

We stayed at the inn for 5 days and had a wonderful time. The bedrooms are really well designed with a clever mezzanine living area which gave much more space for relaxing. The bathrooms were lovely with separate bath and shower, lots of hot water and great water pressure and nice big fluffy towels. The food was amazing with lovely friendly service. The room service breakfast hampers are a really lovely touch and we really liked the fact that all food was sourced locally where possible. We will definitely be coming back for another visit.

Tranquil country surroundings, extremely well kept accommodation, topped up with majestic dining options. Richard and Marianne ensured our stay was perfect, nothing was too much trouble. Excellent attention to detail, both in the superbly converted barns and with the dining experience. If you are looking for some respite away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, take a few days off and let the owners spoil you!
