Brilliant Spanish cuisine. I eat a lot of Spanish food and this is right up there with the best. Our party ordered about 50% of the menu and every single dish was outstanding. Particular highlights were the bean stew, grilled sardines, lamb chops, octopus, and boquerones. But that’s just personal taste, it was all great. Great service too, and all dishes cooked by just one chef on his own! The only thing I’d say is bring cash for a tip, you can’t add it to your card payment.

Attended here by the off chance they could fit us in without a reservation. Luckily the lady at the front of house managed to get us a table. The service was faultless, the food was simply amazing and very tasty. The service was quick and the prices was reasonably priced. 2 mains with sides and 2 drinks cost just over £40.

This tapas bar has been in Richmond for years. Whilst other establishments have come and gone, Don Fernando's has remained. The food is very tasty and the service is friendly. The only downside is the decor which is a bit dated but not worth losing a star rating for. I will definitely be coming back.

This was quite a family comfortable place and had some good tapas. The red sangria was excellent. The Pinchito Moruno and Chorizo Cocido Al Vino Tinto were both very tasty. The Calamares Romana was undercooked and slightly rubbery. I might avoid any seafood the next time. Other than that, we enjoyed our dinner and hope more people start enjoying with us.
The deserts (crème brule and almond tart) were both quite good as well as the red port and moscato.

This is the most delicious Spanish food I've had outside of Spain. The restaurant is run by a family who knows how to cook good food and look after the people who come here to enjoy it. I've been here many times and I've never received anything less than exceptional service and food. This is one of the places that you just want to go to because they make you feel welcome and you always end up leaving with a full belly. The closes you'll get to Spain without leaving the county whilst Covid is still lurking around.

Came in for drinks on a Friday afternoon. We had sangria and some fish skewers and croquettes.
Food was ok, nothing special or standout. We were not tempted into ordering anything more after what we tried which is unusual for a tapas place.
Drinks were ok. Overall found the place overpriced for what is served. Service was very good, friendly and attentive staff.

Wide selection of tapas dishes, including seafood and vegetarian. The peeled prawns with cayane pepper and garlic were absolutely delicious! Love how the fried cheese triangles were all melting on the inside. A bit disappointed by their fried calamari as is was soggy and not seasoned at all. Sangria was yummy and refreshing. The food came out pretty quickly though the restaurant was quite busy. Will be back to try their paella.

Spanish restaurant close to Richmond station. The food was delicious and the staffs were very friendly. They have plenty of seats in side and some tables outside. When we went around 5pm on Saturday, there were already some customers enjoying early dinner and became almost full when we finished eating around 7pm. I liked the marinated anchovies! Octopus seemed popular which was also really tasty.

When given a choice, we usually choose everything. But when it comes to tapas, everything is always the correct answer.
We had:
- Padron peppers were charred w chunks of sea salt - just like in Barcelona
- Pulpo was ok. Not as fresh as in Barcelona and it was a bit too mushy for my taste. Pulpo is supposed to be left a bit rubbery.
- Anchovies were soaked in vinegar and delicious
- Chorizo in white wine was amazing! The fat mixed w wine flavor was perfect
- Manchega cheese came with a sweet jelly to enhance the nutty flavor of the cheese
- Fried artichoke with aioli sauce - this was ok

I came here in a big group for a friend's birthday and was taken aback by how large it was on the inside, as it looks tiny from the street!
Luckily I didn't need to buy from the set menu - as for me personally that's never good value, cos I usually eat small portions.
Anyways, so I ordered the special broad beans and the house potato dish. Both items were very tasty (though quite fatty) and the portions were decent enough to take home for breakfast!
I'm not usually a tapas fan (being veggie) but if someone was seeking it, I would happily send them here. It seems like a family

I'm a big tapas fan, so when Michaelia K suggested Don Fernando for our Sunday lunch spot, I was really looking forward to trying a new place.
Even though the company was wonderful, the food left a bit to be desired. The phrase "phoned in" comes to mind. While the decor and serving dishes could be described as 'authentic', I wouldn't say the food was completely up to snuff. We shared an avocado salad, some spicy shrimp, and chicken/sausage skewers. OIL OIL OIL and crappy lettuce. I did enjoy the spicy shrimp, but next time I would make sure to order some bread to

This is my favourite restaurant in Richmond. It's been around for ~20 years and is still going strong.
Great tapas combined with even greater sangria and a healthy dose of atmosphere all adds up to a great experience.
Very kid friendly as the owners/managers have young families themselves.
I would highly recommend it.

I once went on a double date here. By the time the rioja got to the table I realised that I fancied my friends date far more than mine. After that sinking realisation I soon perked up - not having to worry about making myself desirable for my date, I could concentrate on the food! So I set about ordering plenty.
It is an extensive menu, as well as three types of tapas; meat, fish and vegetarian, there are larger meals. I enjoyed all my food here, but I would hesitate to call it 100% authentic - they have nachos on the menu - aren't they from Mexico?
My recommendation would be to order the
