I have found that Hypnotherapy has helped in so many areas, covering a wide range of issues.
Counselling is your space to explore feelings and issues which are of concern to you - in a confidential, empathic, supportive non-judgmental environment. Psychotherapy is a set of techniques believed to to help solve behavioural and other psychological problems in humans. Psychotherapy could be generally considered as longer term counselling.
The first Hypnotherapy session will consist of taking information about the issue to prepare a personalised session for you, and this first session will also include a trial relaxation session under hypnosis. This will help you to feel more confident and relaxed about hypnotherapy for the full (second) hypnotherapy session.
Hypnotherapy is a way of working with the unconscious to deal with phobias, general anxiety, smoking, weight loss and other issues including labour pains, pain relief, confidence and self esteem. It is a form of deep relaxation during which time the mind becomes relaxed so that we can work together.
Every client is an individual and this is why I offer a Personalised Therapy package addressing the personal needs and reasons for change. Of course life may change, which is why we build confidence for the future into the session. The aim is to help a client to change into the person they want to be with the skills to deal with whatever the change may bring.
