Hi, please allow me to introduce myself. I have been a working therapist for over 10 years now, my ongoing education leads me to be qualified in many areas of therapy, as I still continue to study psychology to this day. I believe the best way to achieve a better way forward is by acknowledging what you want and looking at how you are going to achieve this with a qualified therapist.

I understand how hard it can be to ask for help, talking to a total stranger about your life, but I can asure you all sessions are totally confidential, I'm not here to judege just to help.

As we go about our daily living, rushing from one job to another, it may feel like we are on a constant hamster wheel, round and round we go, with little deviation on a daily basis. The everyday stresses and anxieties taking its toll on our health and mind. The majority of us live out our lives being unaware of how we may be using or abusing our energy levels.
Supervision is a formal contract where a counsellor and supervisor will meet to discuss a counsellor's workload. Supervision is no longer exclusive to the counselling profession and is used in many professions where demands on emotional well being are considerable. The amount of supervision needed is dependent on many factors, including the level of experience of the counsellor, the number of clients being seen, and the intensity of the workload.
Our Personal Development Study Groups are programmes we have devised which looks at how your mind works, and bringing in an awareness of human behaviour, taking you on a journey of self-discovery and self-motivation.
The programme can include directed topics for conversation or personal issues, and looks at how one can be more aware and have a better understanding of ones' self, while encouraging personal growth and positivity, providing tools for considering new ideas and options.The programme will be two hours long, with light refreshments in the interval.

We can all benefit from the use of modern technology and the internet. At 4 Therapy UK we are committed to using and offering the most effective and convenient way of communicating with our clients, whether that's face to face or via SKYPE through your computer, laptop, i-phone or other devices.
Using SKYPE is not always the ideal option due to connectivity and/or broadband speed etc., however it does offer an alternative option if travelling or time is an issue.Using a device with a camera can allow us to talk face to face, if not we can still speak or even use text. At 4 Therapy Uk we see this as a way forward offering our clients more options.

Our "cognitive processes" are our thoughts which include our ideas, mental images, beliefs and attitudes. Cognitive therapy is based on the principal that certain ways of thinking can "trigger" or "fuel" certain health problems. For example, anxiety, depression, phobias etc but there are others, including physical problems.
