Glenaire Primary School is a one-form entry community school in Baildon. We are proud to be known as a caring and inclusive school and value the close community feeling of being one-form entry.
Children are at the heart of everything we do. We nurture them to become the very best that they can be. We work hard to instil a sense of pride and respect so that our children are well-rounded citizens of the future. We want our pupils to enjoy the challenge of understanding new ideas and acquiring new skills; to develop lively, enquiring minds and intellectual curiosity.

Services
All maintained schools are required to have a governing body whose main role is provide strategic leadership, and accountability to parents and the local authority for educational and financial performance. Governors are not directly responsible for managing the school and its staff: that's the job of the headteacher.
At Glenaire, we aim to provide children with memorable learning experiences through a broad, balanced and creative curriculum which meets our children's needs and makes the most of our local area. We will continue to raise levels of achievement through effective leadership which will secure high quality learning experiences for all pupils.
At Glenaire Primary School, we are committed to ensuring equality of opportunity for all pupils, staff, parents and carers irrespective of race, gender, disability, belief, sexual orientation, age or socio-economic background. We are determined to develop a culture of inclusion and diversity in which all those connected to the school feel proud of their identity and ability to participate fully in school life.
As you are aware in these unprecedented times we as a Federation continue to work hard to support our children, parents and local residents. It's really important that while we are doing this vital work, we do not lose sight of those who may be at risk or who are vulnerable in our local communities.
Here you can view the school's income, expenditure and balances as well as compare these with other maintained schools and academies. The information on the website is updated annually by the DfE using the Consistent Financial Reporting (CFR) statements that are submitted by the school to the DfE in summer term.
