Idle Church of England Voluntary Aided Primary School was founded in 1847 and housed in a building adjacent to Holy Trinity Parish Church. Our strong positive Christian ethos is exemplified by our close links with the Church, even though the school transferred to its present site in Boothroyd Drive in 1975, when the old building was demolished.
We are an expanding two-form entry school and our children are positive, confident and successful due to our celebratory ethos. Following completion of an extensive programme of building works, the school is housed in a modern building with well equipped facilities. Please view our 'OFSTED & SIAMS Inspection' section for a fully detailed report.
