The community of St. William's Catholic Primary School uses the Gospel values to provide a loving, caring and safe learning environment. We all need to be aware of these and model them for our children, helping them to make the right choices as they move around our community. Our dedicated Staff, Local Academy Council and Local Community, strive to enable all members of St. William's School to grow personally, academically, socially and spiritually, with God at the centre of our lives.

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to our school website. I am delighted to be leading this community and look forward to moving the school onward and upward, building upon the many existing strengths, whilst forging close working links with our Blessed Christopher Wharton Catholic Academy Trust (BCWCAT) Schools.
As a voluntary aided Catholic School the religious ethos is to be found across the whole curriculum and not just within the RE timetable. The whole aim of the school is the Christian growth of the children, not simply their growth in Faith but their growing awareness of the world as a maturing Christian.
Our chapel is sited at the very centre of our school, midway between our Reception and Year 1 classes. The chapel overlooks what will shortly become our prayer garden and has easy access for classes, children and individuals.
We have deliberately chosen to keep the chapel as plain and blank as possible, focusing instead on the words and actions of the liturgy - siting just one short quote from Matthew's Gospel (18:20) above the door that can only be seen once you've entered the chapel!Seating consists of 12 simple wooden benches that easily accommodate a class or large group and are easily moved to form a variety of seating plans.

We have a Governing Body that complements the friendliness and expertise of St. William's school staff. Our ethos, as governors of the school, is to give positive support, assistance and challenge to ensure that high standards are achieved by the school and are maintained and improved upon.
None of our governors have any material interests arising from relationships between governors or relationships between governors and school staff (including spouses, partners and close relatives). We welcomed a new member to our Governing Body for 2019/2020 - Mr Clayton - appointed as staff representative.

The school has seen many good staff. Presently head teacher miss Parker is experienced by many parents as two faced. She disguises with a sadistic and power obsessed character. She likes to control parents while pretending she care for children. As simple as children are, some have described her as mean. How can such a person be in charge of a school????
