Welford-on-avon Primary School
Interested in training to teach in South Warwickshire? Please contact the school with your email. Maypole Dancing is a tradition in the village. This year we have planted a garden of flowers. Each flower has been made by a pupil and planted on the Green to to create a bright and colourful display.

Remembrance Service at Welford Memorial Hall Pupils from Year 4, 5 and 6 attended the remembrance service on Monday to commemorate the brave servicemen and women who gave their lives during World War 1 and 2 and other conflicts.

In brief, the Governing body have a general responsibility for the management of the school. Providing a strategic view to assist in the improvement of the school and to raise standards by working in association with Mrs Leeman and the teaching team - with support, advice & information drawn from the knowledge & experience of the serving Governing members.
At Welford School, we have high expectations and ambitions for every pupil, regardless of background. However, pupil premium students are identified and catered for following conversations with teachers about how best to meet their needs. Some of these children need high quality, tailored support but the vast majority benefit from excellence in the classroom.
