Services
Kickboxing for Teenagers is open to 11-16 year olds. As teenagers prefer to be treated as young adults not children, we treat this class of girls and boys as young adults - which in turn creates expectations that they must step up and act as responsible young adults. Our class system allows a natural progression for our 'Junior' Kickboxing students to graduate into the Teen class when they are either mature or old enough.
Our kickboxing classes for kids 5yrs + promote physical health and agility, discipline and concentration - it's a great way for them get some exercise, meet other children and learn valuable skills which will stay with them for life.
Our grading by belt system provides a useful way for children to identify and to focus on moving 'up the ranks', creating a sense of satisfaction and self-fulfilment whilst building their self-esteem and confidence along the way.

Throughout the history of mankind there has been fighting between people, this has subsequently led to the development of specialised skills for self-protection. These approaches have particularly evolved in China into fighting arts we now call Kung Fu. However, the term Kung Fu is comparatively modern, as it has only been used in the last century.
Our aim is to make the benefits of boxing accessible to everyone. Our focus is on good technique & developing strong fundamental skills - good basics can keep you on your feet when the going gets tough! As the noble art, we expect all students to conduct themselves appropriately and show each other respect at all times - get your gloves on, guard up & leave your ego by the door!

I was warned about Paul but decided to try anyway. Big mistake.
He seemed socially awkward, which is fine, but was very angry the whole class. He shouted for the whole hour and even got angrier at us when HE made an error.
We were only 2 girls trying something new so this was way more intimidating than it had to be.
The locker rooms were also filthy.

This place is amazing. I went in as a nervous boxing beginner and was made to feel so welcome and not uncomfortable at all. Especially as a woman this was really important to me, a couple of other gyms have been SO macho. 6 months in, I now have a great group of people and feel I've come on leaps and bounds so I now feel fitter, more confident, and pretty successful at sparring! 10/10 would recommend
