You're one step closer to the most unique classes, the coolest interiors and sickest tunes London has to offer. A member of the team will be in touch to get you booked in for a tour, we can't wait to see you soon! In the meantime, why not give us a follow on Instagram @gymboxofficial and see what's to come.
Services
Fast forward to now and we're home to the most unique and diverse classes in London. Olympic sized boxing rings, combat cages, world-class free weights sections, live DJs and larger-than-life personal trainers. It was like no other gym in town. You could be anyone you wanted to be. Be any shape you happened to be.
Whether we're here to spin, squat, stretch, get swole or nail a PB it's up to all of us to make sure we're sweating safely. Class bookings - The bookings for IRL classes open at 10am exactly one week before the day you want to visit. For example, at 10am on Monday, bookings open for classes happening the following Monday.
Whether you need help giving gymtimidation the boot or expert programming to smash through those PBs, Gymbox PTs guarantee to give your workouts all the gear AND plenty of ideas. How? Well, cos we've trained them. The Gymbox Academy works with some of the best coaches in London - each one bringing their unique personalities, specialist insight and expertise in club upon finishing training.
Back in the day, a decent wage and a week off in Benidorm was all you'd need for a happy workforce. But times have changed. Your people need more - and when it comes to choosing where to spend their 9-5, they're not afraid to play the field. So, let's talk tactics. A cracking benefits package that includes corporate gym membership is a shrewd move for employers wanting to keep the best talent all to themselves.

Gymbox's business practices are predatory and have extremely little protection for members. I trained here for two years and had:
1) One of their PTs take £100 payment for training, leave the gym with no warning, and ghost me. Gymbox did nothing to address this.
2) Their sales staff and reception staff told me I could leave with no cancellation notice. When I left I was told that I had to pay two months of membership as I had not cancelled. Even after explaining this to their staff, I was told to pay and a (reduced) amount was then forwarded to a debt collection agency with no notice.

Top rate gym. The staff are always engaged and on point. The class teachers are second to none and absolute leaders in their field.
Towels are provided and all areas are always clean. This gym is very well kitted out. However, each as it’s own feel so worth seeing which of their gyms is best for you; in many cases the decision is based on which is closer for your needs.

Awesome at first glance: cool vibe, great equipment and relatively clean. Management here is a joke however, over the course of the last 4 months of my membership the place has been plagued with no running water on two occasions and no hot water for weeks at a time. The response is typically 'oops' or 'brrr' with zero accountability or solutions. Don't come here.

I am very sorry GymBox, London but this review may not be as positive as I would have liked. I wanted to give the company a chance to rectify the situation offline, so that I did not have to share this publicly.

I have been a loyal customer of Gym Box, Westfield for some years, as I like how it is a bit more upmarket than other gyms and I am happy to pay the higher Membership.  I have found the gym to be friendly by both staff and members, motivational atmosphere, great equipment and shower/ sauna facilities. I have never had a bad experience

I have been paying £20 monthly for locker hire

Attended their TRX suspension class. The equipment was so old and rusty. The environment was too noisy from the boxing area adjacent to it and with loud music that I could barely understand the instructions from the trainer.
Afterwards I tried doing self workout only to find how the machines are being hogged up by various personal trainers who are blocking multiple equipments for circuit training their clients. The free weights area is impossible to find or know about unless you ask for it.
Overall a very commercialized and focused on personal training kind of environment. There are other better

0/5 Health & Safety - if you want a cleaner mopping around your feet whilst you workout making the floor & your gym shoes slippery enough to slip over and injure yourself whilst working out - then this is the gym for you. The cleaner will literally mop around your feet as you workout at 7:30-8:30pm even though the gym is busy with people exercising & closes at 10pm. It’s absurd to pay for a premium priced gym & then be forced to compete with cleaners for safe gym space.

Had a personal training session with Danny and it was brilliant. He specialises in functional training and it was one of the best workouts i have had in a long time. If you want to build muscle and shred fat i can't recommend him enough.

Good gym but for the price of the membership it should be better. The distribution of the gym is not ideal as free weights and machines are in 2 different floors, weights area is too small for the number of equipment that it has, so when working out you feel quite cramped up. Also, might be a detail but, is the first time a use a gym that has no water fountain on the weights area. Treadmills are modern and the overall atmosphere of the gym is trendy and uplifting.

I can not stress strongly enough how bad this gym is; it is way too small for the number of people it has signed up. I went at 7am and there is not a single piece of free equipment at this time, all the classes are full, people are literally stepping over each other and become aggressive when they want a machine. Basically unusable and a complete waste of money. I flagged this less then 24 hours after joining (I was assured that it was quiet in mornings by the sales person) and was completely refused any sort of refund or compensation.
I could not possibly recommend this place less.

I want to like this gym. Not because it's the best in London, not because it's the most well equipped (though it actually is pretty well equipped, despite the small workout area). Sure there's easygym, which is for the more casual people, but frankly, I'm kind of glad there's a gym in West London that serves a more dedicated fitness group. There's Virgin Active and Equinox, both of which are far more expensive and definitely not as convenient to get to, at least if you take the Tube. I found a Pure Gym nearby though that offered more and better equipment for less money

Gymbox

I was in London for business for a week (staying on Shepherds Bush) and needed a good gym with focus on excellent selections of free weights and machines. Paid $30 (GBP20) for a day pass. About the usual for any London gym. I arrived at 3pm on a weekday.

Pros:
Nice vibe. Overall very friendly staff and patrons. Nice mixture of equipment focusing on weights, boxing, MMA, cross training. They have a boxing ring and a selection of bags. Great location in the Westfield Shopping Center. Free gym towel on entry.

Cons:
Not enough equipment. Mostly there's only one of each item. Should

This is where they keep the pretty people! I love this gym mainly for the classes, gone are the usually drab Les mills classes and in come the funky ideas- workout on a trampette waving glowstick- YES PLEASE!
If you want to have fun whilst you workout come to this gym. they have strength classes on the frame, Channel your inner warrior with the "Caveman" class. Get out the pom poms with "cheerleading", learn the moves of the playboy bunny in "bunny bootcamp. Classes do tend to be more populated by the ladies but I think this gym really tries to create classes for guys too

Only sign up as a girl!

Been a member now for almost 8 months. Gym is ok-ish, but nothing special. Clearly trying to make it more interesting as many machines are now aged and less in fashion.

Basically there is a weights area that's always beyond capacity and people fight for getting a space. Then there's a cardio area where about 30% is used. makes no sense to me

My observation is that boy/girl ration is about 90/10. No one told me about this when I signed up. but it's pretty consistent every time I'm there. So you just need to be aware of this.

Girls - plenty of cardio

This is a pretty cool gym hidden on the top floor of Westfield. You get free two hour parking at Westfield as a member and the facilities are excellent. There's a boxing ring, lots of free weights, plenty of machines and three rooms for those wishing to part take in one of many different classes on offer.

Despite the lack of a pool and squash court though that's a bit harsh as the space surely doesn't allow for it gymbox still gets a five star based on the convenience, facilities and excellent staff.

It's an excellent gym with fantastic friendly trainers like mine (JoJo
