To foster an environment that allows each child to learn organically through the experience of play; working together with their families to provide a holistic approach to learning. To create a child centred learning environment which is underpinned by the spiritual well being of each child; focusing on children's interests as well as the environment that surrounds them.
We would like to welcome everyone back and like to reassure you all of our utmost priority is to keep our children, staff and parents safe in the situation we find ourselves in. Due to this we have had to make some changes to the hand over times, can we please ask you to read this letter so you are aware of the changes.
The Islamic world view places great emphasis on mankind being Gods khalifah (custodian upon the earth). We aim through stories and play to teach children how to respect, love and take care of the earth they live upon, cultivating within them a desire to truly become custodians, fulfilling the trust they have been entrusted with.
The world is best experienced in its natural form, we believe that the child's first experience with the world around him/her will go on to have a profound influence upon their lives.
Thus we aim to develop a space which allows our children to engage in that which is organic, pure and natural; from growing fruits and vegetables, playing with handmade toys carved from natural wood and forest school learning; through this we endeavour to allow our children to experience the beauty of the natural world that they live in.

Guided by prophetic principles, Happy Children places great emphasis upon child centered play until the age of seven. Our approach is a holistic one, concentrating on the process of learning and not just the product. Play is an organic and natural means in which children understand the world around themselves, arousing within them a desire to learn about it and understand and communicate with it effectively.

Amazing provision for the early years to be found at this nursery. Outstanding staff with clear interests in nurturing each individual child that attends in the most holistic way possible.
Montessori centred with a plethora of resources and staff that have been trained to engage the children with materials in order to gain a maximal multi-sensory learning experience.
Kind and compassionate staff, helping to nurture kind and compassionate children! What more could you want from a nursery?!
