Children from our local village, wider rural communities and nearby towns attend our school because of the outstanding level of teaching, care and support we provide. Nestled on the Herefordshire slopes of the Malvern Hills, we benefit from modern school buildings in a beautiful setting. Pupils love their extensive play and sports areas and our productive gardens regularly feature in outside activities.
Parents and guardians offer invaluable practical help to support their children's learning. They also lead fund-raising projects and use their dedication and talents to maximise the opportunities we can give to our pupils. Our close ties to local organisations, including Cradley Church, also enable our pupils to look far beyond the boundaries of this school for inspiration and challenge.

Services
We are very proud of everything we do at Cradley CE Primary. We offer a well-rounded education that values achievement as well as realises the importance of arts, music, drama, sport and outdoor education. It encourages an understanding of the meaning and significance of faith and promotes Christian values through the experience it offers to all its pupils.
The governing body has considerable discretion as to how to discharge its responsibilities but is required to constitute itself in line with the regulations and to appoint a chair and vice chair. The governing body may delegate certain of its responsibilities to certain governors or committees of governors, although in general, it is not compelled to do so.
We have 22 Christian Values, chosen by the whole school community, which are embedded throughout our school life, including curricular, extra-curricular work and collective worship. We have a Value of the Month and the themes of that value run through the month. The values run on a two year cycle. Alongside our Values, sit our Learning Behaviours.
We strongly believe that children are more likely to reach their potential if they are happy, have fun, feel nurtured and grow from a foundation of strong Christian Values. As educators, our aim is to guide the children in our care along the path of life.
As children develop their understanding of spirituality and values, they become more secure and then strong enough to make mistakes and learn from them, moving on in their spiritual learning and academic growth. We are a highly inclusive school and welcome all faiths, cultures and children from any background.

The Head Teacher, the Special Education Needs Co-ordinator (SENCo) and the class teachers have responsibility for children with additional needs. All work together so that the pupils' needs are met, working with parents to ensure the best possible support is in place. Cradley School also has close links with many external agencies to help facilitate this, such as speech and language therapists, behaviour support and educational psychologists.
