Services
We have owned the Bed & Breakfast for over ten years and we work hard to provide excellent bed and breakfast accommodation near Historic York's city centre. We have five comfortable bedrooms and delicious full English breakfast is sure to set you up for the day ahead. We cater for vegetarian and special diets by prior arrangement.
As with many Bed & Breakfasts, the 'per room, per night' charge varies depending on demand, day of the week and time of the year. Please note, for longer stays, there is sometimes rate flexibility, so please call on 01904 645818 if you're planning on being in York for 7 or more days. If we get less than 7 days notice we charge in full, but only if we fail to re-let the room.
No.34 is situated on Bootham Crescent, just off the A19 York to Thirsk road approximately 800 metres from the City Centre and 2 miles from the A1237 outer ring road giving easy access to the A64, A1, M1 and M62. York Railway Station is less than a mile from our B&B. Leave the station concourse and turn left in the direction of the Minster, crossing the River Ouse via Lendal Bridge.

Decent breakfast:plenty of variety
Enough tea and coffee
Clean and tidy rooms
We loved the bathroom nice deep bath for a good soak
Ideal for going into York City
10min walk but if you can't manage to walk it taxi always available.
There are scooters available at the end of the road
B and B owner pleasant enough not in your face,
Lady that let us in was very nice and welcoming
Would recommend to others to stay

Beautiful and lovely B&B
Nice for a break away, clean and well laid out . Breakfast was really nice, with a nice selection. The owner was very nice and polite, the beds really comfy, shower was good, and appearance nice.
The area is pleasant and quiet, and only a short walk from York City centre (less than 10 minute walk) or a minute by car.

Unfortunately no-one was around to let us in when we arrived which was after the check in time of 4.30pm. We parked in the restricted parking area outside with our fingers crossed that we wouldn't get a ticket as there was no parking permit available for us. Our time in York was restricted so at 5.45pm we decided to leave the b and b and chance the parking....still no one had arrived to greet us. Room nice and clean. Quiet road.
