About a mile from the village of Shirehampton on the bank of the River Avon sits The Lamplighters. A pub dating back to 1760 it oozes warm character with the genuine feel of a country pub. Our riverside location provides stunning views across the mouth of the River Avon & the village of Pill. A perfect location to enjoy our freshly made, locally sourced, seasonal pub food and selection of cask ales, beers & great wines.
If the weather is fine you can enjoy our family friendly beer garden with a river view. If it's chilly out, grab a seat by the roaring fire and enjoy a drink with us. If you have any dietry requirements or any questions about our menu, just ask one of the team and we will be happy to help.

Came here for evening meal with my daughter. Booked in advance for early evening and found we needed to since most tables were taken by people ha I guess an evening drink.
The menu is rather limited and basic with a couple of ‘specials’ which were nothing special. There was a good choice of beers and they tasted good.
The quality of the food was good and the service very good apart from the fact that you couldn’t have a tab and had to pay for everything each time you ordered, which is frustrating.
We had a calamari starter with a chicken burger and sausage and mash with a wine and 2 beers

Called in today for lunch. Been there many times before so I thought I knew what to expect. Went to the bar, served straight away, my wife and mother sat down. The surface of the table was sticky all over. The whole place smelt of toilet cleaning fluid. So strong! We looked at the menu expecting there to be the usual choice. Under MAINS there were 3 things, sausage and mash, curry or a salad. There were several different types of burger but that was it. Previous

I took my kids for a walk the other day and came across the Lamplighters pub.
We went in for some refreshments, the place was very busy, but we were served quickly. It looked fresh and tidy with a nicely painted outside area. The member of staff that served us was called Sophie, she was very friendly, helpful and informative. I could see that the staff were rushed off their feet, but never the less, I was very happy with the service I received.
