Services
Bath Ales brewed its first beer in 1995 at a tiny brewery in Wincanton, Somerset. Since then the brewery has moved twice, but the beer we make and the Hare that proudly adorns our beers remains the same - with a bit of a refresh along the way. Founded by Roger Jones and Richard Dempster, the pair brought on Rab Clark, a local publican, because he was willing to sell their first beer.
We wanted to make an ale that feels as familiar as walking into your favourite country pub. So we used traditional British malts and balanced the soft fruits and bittersweet caramel with a soft, smooth bitterness. Our well-balanced amber ale that sees the malty character from the Maris Otter barley really shine through.
Named after a suburb of Bath north of the city, which features an iconic hill of the same name with panoramic views over the city - Lansdown is a contemporary, fresh and hoppy west-coast IPA. The creation of our Senior Brewer Darren James, Lansdown is big, bold and well-constructed, with multiple layers of hop flavour and notes of tropical fruit, lime zest and pine forest.
An alluring tropical aroma is followed by big juicy mango and citrus notes, a refreshing combination forged from Aurora and Wolf hops fulfil your expectations in our easy-drinking pale ale. This sessional pale ale while a modest 3.8% ABV, provides an impressive zesty treat for the senses. Crisp and fresh with a subtle hint of citrus bitterness, Wild Hare (5% abv) is a full-flavoured golden ale bursting with hedgerow fruit notes. Our gluten free, classic British pale ale uses English-grown First Gold hops to add fleshy fruits, floral acacia and lots of citrus notes to the beer's light, malty taste.

Hi
Have not done your tour yet seen your beers around tried some years ago at an event.
I've been an ale drinker most of my life I'm 67 .
My wife required stout for Christmas puddings she bought yours,
I drank the rest I have to say a nice surprise very pleasant, and a very good chocolate
After taste as on the bottle.
Having tried that one, recently I've been trying golden and blonde ales.
Today I have had a bottle of your gem Amber ale what a lovely surprise the aroma
was wonderful as for the taste this is the best I have had, lovely after taste
I would recommend this one to anyone 10
