Services
We operate from two local vet practice surgeries situated in Wavertree and Fazakerley, Liverpool. We provide the highest level of service for you and your pet. Our mission is to provide the highest quality in Veterinary Medical care, in a friendly, relaxed environment. A friendly vet practice. We opened our first vet practice in 1975 and have worked to maintain personal relationships with our clients and their pets ever since.
We are always available to see your pet if they are not well. As well as diagnosing the condition the vet team will carry out any medical tests required and administer or prescribe medication. If your pet requires additional diagnostic testing or more specialist help, our vets can schedule the appropriate tests and appointments for you.
Unfortunately, we are currently unable to accept new registrations for clients transferring their pets from another veterinary practice, please check our website as we keep this under review for any changes. Please allow 48 hours for your registration to be completed, at this point please then contact us for an appointment if necessary, please be aware we are experiencing delays with booking routine appointments.
To help us get to know you and your pet better, please answer these questions before your appointment. Do you give any dietary supplements to your pet (for example: Vitamins, Glucosamine, Essential Fatty Acids, or any other supplements)?
If yes - please provide policy details including name of insurance provider, policy number, type of cover, mandatory excess and owner percentage contribution amount, claim limit, and details of any exclusions on your pet's policy. If this information is unknown, then please check your policy documents, or contact your pet's insurance provider to enquire.

Pet insurance provides cover for veterinary fees in the event that your pet becomes injured or unwell. It can provide peace of mind that you're in a position to afford all the veterinary care your pet may need. With veterinary medicine employing expensive medical techniques and medication, and with pet owners caring more and more about their pets' health, pet insurance is becoming increasingly popular.

I do love how lovely the vets are here but I have been disappointed a few times, I had a rabbit with a sore hock and they immediately said and only suggested putting him to sleep I couldn’t believe it I asked about amputation and they said no cause he wouldn’t survive so I believe them and done what I suggested I am still heartbroken over a year later I loved him so much, however recently I was doing research and listening to other vets which I should of done before and my research concluded that they can survive and have a happy life with 3 or 2 legs, I am devastated. I think they really need

We have been with Adams Vets for over 20 years & they have cared for our many dogs, cats, rabbits & Guinea pigs in that time. They offer competitive prices & everyone has always been welcoming & approachable. From operations to general health checks & also the devastating loss of our beloved pets, the vets, nurses & receptionist's have been wonderful & supportive.

Excellent staff, very pleasant and genuinely care. The receptionist makes you feel welcome the moment you arrive she is very helpful and will do anything she can to help you! The lady vet we seen was very polite and informative she listened to my concerns and went through all the possible options before treating my dog! She made me feel very at ease and I would recommend Adams vets in a heartbeat! 10/10

I’ve been going to Adams’ since 2006, they sponsored a cat rescue where I bought my cat from. I’ve always found the staff to be welcoming and always strive to help you out. They clearly all love animals even when it was my (2) cats who didn’t appreciate their fuss! My dogs love the ladies there, our very shy English Bull Terrier (who used to tremble when meeting strangers) loved the girls who helped her (she was sadly put to sleep in August). Our remaining dog (a Pug) enjoyed lots of cuddles today after her 2nd vaccination. It really put her fears at ease today, it’s those little touches

Avoid this vet like the plague unless you enjoy paying parking fines. I had never been to this vet before.
I took my 9 week old kitten to get his needles and his first check up.
About a week later, I received a letter stating I had to pay a £100 parking fine as I’d exceeded the maximum stay of 30 minutes.
Despite there being a sign outside stating 30 minutes maximum stay, I assumed because I was taking my kitten to the vet, it didn’t apply to myself as I had no idea how long my appointment would take - well I was very wrong.
When I contacted the vet post receiving the letter, they were
