Broadway Veterinary Surgery
Broadway Veterinary Surgery first opened in 1979 and has now been providing quality care to our clients and their pets for 40 years. We are a community based, dedicated small animal practice based on the Wirral. In the early days Broadway was a one-vet single-site practice operating from our original site of 2 Broadway, Higher Bebington, Wirral.

In 1999, Broadway was the first local practice to become fully open, seven days a week. Additional branches were opened in Wallasey in 2004, then in Heswall in 2012, and finally our original site in Higher Bebington was replaced with a larger building, just across the road, at the end of 2014. We have several vets working in our practices, with varying special interests from orthopaedics to soft tissue surgery and medicine.
Services
Each of our three branches is equipped with multiple consultation rooms, kennel rooms, surgical suites, laboratories and dispensaries which enable us to provide good quality health care for your pets! Here at Broadway Vets we believe that vaccinations are an important part of protecting your pets from severely harmful, yet preventable diseases and are an essential part of responsible pet care. Dogs, cats and rabbits are susceptible to a number of life-threatening diseases, but scientific advances and the introduction of immunisation has been very effective in reducing the number of cases dramatically.
We know that finding the best parasite control program for your pets can be daunting and confusing! We offer a range of different products to suit everyone, so contact us today to discuss the most appropriate solution for your pets. All dogs and even the cleanest of cats can get fleas! They can pick them up when they are outside and out on walks, or we can carry them into the house on our clothing.

The wait time to see a vet not good at all. Wrong info given by Reception staff on phone which nearly lost me my holiday at a cost to me. Reception staff and vet on day very nice. Never cheap.

We have trusted Broadway with both our dogs throughout their entire lives. I originally chose them years ago as they did evening and weekend appointments when others didn't but over the years they have treated us and our pets so well. We lost our Boxer in lockdown and at the very start of Lockdown, when she got sick they were so patient with all the restrictions, supporting us and putting up with my crying on the phone. We wouldn't trust anyone else with our pets.

Goodish....sorted dog out ok but seems quite expensive tho don't have extensive knowledge of other vets to compare but £36 just for the consultation seems massively overpriced when only in there for 5 minutes! And then the same again if another visit is needed.

Lovely vets surgery, staff are very reassuring, understanding and comforting. Usually our dog gets agitated when going to the vets but he seemed to feel at ease here. Our dog broke his leg and is still continuing with his treatment over the next few weeks.

Took my dog there today (it's sister practice in Wallasey is closed at the weekend) to be put to sleep. The vet and support staff were exceptionally caring and thoughtful. The vet spent most of the time whispering so to ensure that my dog remained calm and relaxed in her final moments. This meant more to me than anything. So very pleased with their professionalism. Also the price was very competitive for services rendered. Thank you x

These people could not organise a PU in a brewery. I have made 4 appointments - 1 good although 20 minute wait. Next two were moved by them and the one to day really took the biscuit. Only appointment available was at King Road for 4:30, I was there in plenty of time and called at 4:21 by my phone records.I waited for an hour only to be told when I questioned this that the vet I was supposed to see had left at 4:30 there was myself and another couple waiting whose appt had bee for 5pm. The vet said she was already an hour behind but no one else was waiting! When asked if they could not see people

Amazing place Vets and nurses! Angie did a successful major op on our Yorkie and 5 weeks later put our 17 year old collie cross Charlie dog to sleep 💔 She was caring, quick and efficient. Charlie didn't even know she was in our home so just quietly went to sleep. It couldn't have gone any better.
