The Cat Doctor is a mobile cat vet in Surrey, UK - an experienced, feline-friendly veterinary practice providing medical care to cats in the comfort of their own home. From our very first home visit back in 2013, our founding vet Amy Bergs DVM MANZCVS (Feline Medicine) MRCVS, nurse Shreen Haywood RVN Cert FN and the rest of our cat-loving team have enjoyed doing things a bit differently.
Saddened by seeing terrified cats (and owners) in the clinic and fed up watching cats being treated like second class citizens in practices focused on dogs, we wanted to create a way of getting cats the care they need without all of the unnecessary stress that so often comes with it.

We offer a full range of services similar to other veterinary practices but without the busy waiting rooms and barking dogs. Our vets and nurses are all feline-focused, providing comprehensive consultations in a relaxed environment with personalised diagnostic and treatment plans - all of which results in a better experience for both you and your cat.
Whether you just brought home your first tiny kitten or your cat has recently been diagnosed with a chronic disease, the Internet can be a great source of information. The quality of that information, however, can vary significantly and some of it can be just plain wrong.

Our mobile veterinary service is available for home visits in parts of North Surrey but due to a recent surge in patient numbers, we have had to restrict the area from which we accept new clients. Sincere apologies if this means we are no longer able to take your cat on as a patient - we wish we could see everybody but time simply doesn't allow it!
