Services
The building at 130 Streatham Vale was originally built as a farmhouse in the early 19th century, around 100 years before the rest of the housing around the Vale was built. In the early 1980's it was being used as a gentleman's outfitters before being converted into a veterinary surgery by Peter Ross.
Here at Vale Vets, we offer a full and compressive range of services to reassure you that your pet's care and well-being will be catered for. Our excellent staff and facilities will give you and your pet everything you will ever need. We are excited to share with you the NEW Symptom Checker designed and run by vets.
Here at Vale Vets, we offer one health care plan which aims to cover every single aspect of your pet's preventative care and treatments. This plan allows you to spread the cost of caring for your pet throughout the year, enjoying significant savings while doing so.

What's more, this plan also covers your pet for the majority of their preventative treatments (which is never covered by your standard insurance policies) and will provide you with expert advice at all times, to give you complete peace of mind.If you have any queries or would like to find out more information about the pet health care plan we have available, please do not hesitate to contact us today.
Vaccination remains the cornerstone of our preventative care policy. DO NOT be put off by those ill-formed people who say regular booster vaccination is either unnecessary or unsafe. They are wrong!. We regularly see heartbreaking stories where someone as found out the hardest way of all that this is not the case.
Fleas are very common parasitic problem in both cats and dogs, using good effective flea prevention is key to stop these nasty parasites making a meal of your pet and you!. In addition to the itchy bites, fleas can also transmit diseases and possibly affect you and your pet's health if they are not controlled.

I enjoy using this veterinary service. They provide good services and information. Perfect invaluable help available all day which is really good for new unexperienced owners. They are very helpful and friendly and polite which is extremely useful especially of you have minor anxieties on owning young pet. If you et pet care plan the services are cheaper and works out better for the pocket

£45 consultation fee my dog was with vet 3 minutes, 2 lots of meds that didn't work, took him back, another consultation fee which I was quite angry about seeing it was for the same problem , literally in with vet David 1 minute, he never done anything with him another 2 lots of medicine spent £240 , seems they are only in it for the money ... Will be taking my dog elsewhere , after speaking to a few dog walkers they feel the same about this vet and would not go back

1) Very poor communication with customers. The staff act like they hate their job. (likely something to do with the owner of the business David Salisbury-Jones being a very unprofessional and cold person)
2) The clinic's focus is very much to make money. They do not care about your pet. (At least I never got that impression)
3) They charge you for things you don't ask for. Make sure you ask the price first!
My dog got a vaccination I didn't ask for. Their response - "well its done now, so you have to pay for it."
P.s. I have to say though, Mary (one of the vets) is the only positive and professional

Spoke to a man that was very straightforward and understanding of my cat’s problems and took me through the process of booking an appointment but I called about an hour later to ask about the details of the process of bringing my cat there and a very sarcastic woman had no consideration for my questions when I asked about the process. She stated that she wouldn’t tell me until I was there myself and when I said I wanted to know at this moment what the booking process was and she responded totally unprofessionally telling me that ‘This is what I’m telling YOU’. As a staff member your job

Best clinic in the area. The staff are caring people who love my two dogs nearly as much as I do. They (my pets) aren't even afraid anymore when we go there.
