Anne Nelson Vets is a well established Small Animal Veterinary Surgery providing veterinary services to a wide area covering Croydon, Purley, Sanderstead, Coulsden, Wallington, Sutton, Caterham, and beyond into Surrey, Kent and South London. Nelson Vets was originally established in 1975 by Michael Nelson.
Pet Health Care Plans are an easy and economical way of getting the Preventative Healthcare that is an important aspect of pet ownership. They both spread and reduce the cost of all the routine treatment that ensures your pet has the best chance of a healthy, strong and happy life. They are designed to cover every aspect of your pet's health, be easy to manage, and reduce the cost to you, the owner.
We have two well equipped consulting rooms plus a nurse consult room and offer 15 minute appointments per patient. Consultations are available throughout the day and we aim to offer an appointment that is both convenient for you and with the particular vet you would like to see. We offer consultations Monday- Sunday, excluding Public Holidays.
We have a light and spacious kennel area which is warm and comfortable for both day patients and In-patients. If a patient requires hospitalisation we have a huge variety of foods to try and keep to your pet's familiar diet, as well as specialised diets to treat certain conditions.
We encourage people to come and visit their animals when staying with us as this sometimes encourages the animal to feel at ease within the environment but at times may advise that it isn't appropriate.We have a team of dedicated In-patient nurses who provide the treatments but also spend time with each individual animal.

Nurse Clinics enable clients to get advice on a range of things involved with pet care and health from our experienced nurses, without the necessity of booking an appointment with a vet. The nurse can often spend more time with clients than the vet is able to, so you can ask more questions about any aspects of caring for your pet.

Such a good local veterinary practice. Lovely receptionists and vets, who always seem keen to help with any questions or queries you might have. They remember our cat by name, and always seem to take the best care of her whenever we need to go. Any advice they give is always needed, and never feels like they're trying to make a little bit extra when they can. Cannot recommend them enough

I received absolutely terrible customer service. I had been to they practice several times and paid each and every visit, but this one time I visiting (in LOCKDOWN) they told me I wasn’t allowed to enter to make payments, so they told me they would call to take payment - which I was ok with. Anyway, i forgot all about it and it wasn’t until 3-6 months later when I had a call from them saying “debt collectors have been instructed”. I was shocked as they had NOT attempted to contact me beforehand, but the lady on the phone essentially called me a liar saying they would have emailed me (which

I have been using this vet for 25 years, and highly recommended them. Knowledgeable, thorough and kind staff. They are also fully adapted to the distancing rules for the current Covid environment. Ann Nelson supports the Cats Protection League which is situated next door, so it's nice knowing that whenever I pay a bill for one of my animals, I am also supporting a worthy charity.
