Stephanie Connelly is the founder and Principal of the Old School House Nursery Schools. Stephanie first set up The Old School House at Benty Lane in 1990 and she continues to play an influential part within the nurseries. Both nurseries offer the same unrivalled level of exceptional facilities.

Welcome to the colourful world of the Old School House Nursery Schools, where generations of Sheffield children since 1990 have made friends, learned new skills and found the perfect nursery school. Both our nurseries are based on the same principals Safe, Happy and Learning.
Stephanie Connelly (the Principal), Liza Connelly (Assistant Principal) and Stacey Darby (Operations Manager and Early Learning Teacher) work hard with their teams to ensure that the uniformity of high standards are met across both sites.Pride is taken in offering a personal, friendly service in order to build good relationships with children, their parents and carers.

There is also the flexibility of adding an extra half an hour to your session at the beginning and the end of the day. These can be booked ad hoc and are charged at an extra cost. All fees are paid monthly in advance. Please note that there is no reduction in fees for absence due to holidays or sickness.
The vision of the Old School House Nursery Schools is to deliver rich learning experiences. Both of the nurseries are wonderfully spacious with un-rivalled facilities. We never stop investing at the Old School House to ensure that the children enjoy bright, well resourced, stimulating comfortable rooms and play areas with state-of-the-art play equipment.
The Old School House is also a Training Academy ie The Old School House Training Academy and is an accredited CACHE (Council for Awards in Care, Health and Education) Training Centre. CACHE is UK's only specialist awarding organisation for the children, adult and health care sectors with a portfolio of qualifications ranging from Entry to Level 5.
