We are proud to be a small village school that offers children a welcoming and secure environment in which to learn and develop as young people. We offer small classes and individual attention. We aim for the highest attainment for all our pupils, through high quality teaching, in a well managed and structured environment.

We will give your child the opportunity to gain independence and to rise to the many educational and social challenges that they will face as a citizen of the 21st Century. Please do explore the whole website in particular the Gallery section and the topic webs as these give a wonderful insight into what we are learning.

Pupil Premium funding was introduced by the Government in order to address the attainment gap between different groups of pupils. The money is sent to schools based in the numbers of pupils in the school who eligible for free school meals (FSM), are in care (CLA) or, from 2012, whose parents are in the Armed Forces.
It soon became apparent that in South Orpington we were well-placed to formalise our existing partnership in order to further strengthen provision for around two thousand local pupils as well as provide support for each other, and so the idea to create our own Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) was born. James Turvey, Headteacher at Tubbenden Primary School, is our CEO.
Ofsted come into schools every thee to four years to make a judgement on the quality of learning and teaching within the school. A report is then written and published on the Ofsted website.
