At St George's we are proud to be one family of lifelong learners who know that they are special to God. Our family is built upon a strong sense of belonging and mutual respect. Our community gives our children the freedom to flourish and succeed. At St George's we are learning today for a better tomorrow for our neighbours, our world and ourselves.
Ours is a curriculum that encompasses the whole child, inspiring each one to flourish academically, spiritually and socially. This is achieved through the strength of our teaching, fellowship and pastoral care. The foundation and character of our vision and mission is the life transforming power of love (I John 4.13).

We should like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the St George's Bickley CE Primary School website which we hope you will find both informative and helpful. Our aim is to provide prospective and new parents with information about the school's ethos, procedures and policies and also to keep existing parents up to date with day to day news and information.
St George's is committed to serving its local national and international community. It recognises the multi-cultural, multi faith and ever-changing landscape of the United Kingdom. It also understands the vital role it has in ensuring that groups or individuals within any environment are not subjected to intimidation or radicalisation by those wishing to unduly, or illegally, influence them.
At St George's we have an Eco Council who are elected by the pupils themselves and who represent each class. We constantly remind our community about walking/cycling/scootering to and from school; we remind our neighbourhood that cars should not be left 'idling' and how we support our local Borough's anti-idling campaign.
Further to our recent correspondence, please see this campaign for Action Against Abduction and called, 'Clevernevergoes'. St George's Church of England Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all personnel and volunteers to share this responsibility.
The Dragon's Breakfast Club operates daily from 7.45-8.45am. The cost of the club is 5.00 per child, per day. Pupils need to arrive before 8.00am so that we can ensure they all have time to enjoy their breakfast of juice, water or milk and cereal and/or toast. They spend the remaining time taking part in activities such as board games, lego or quiet activities, until school starts.
