Services
Ark Veterinary Practice is a friendly and caring veterinary practice, situated in the heart of Fleet, and has been proudly serving the local area since 1954.
Originally known as Cleverly and Avery, the practice was located in Upper Street and gave medical treatment to small and large animals, but gradually over the years the demand for visiting farms and horses fell so the practice changed to a small animal practice with a new name when Mike Bundy took over.In 2002 we moved to our Burnside surgery and then in 2007 the practice became part of the CVS Group.

Here at Ark Veterinary Practice, we're very proud to have so many enthusiastic and dedicated individuals working in our friendly practice. We are all passionate about animals and their well-being, from our veterinary surgeons and qualified nurses to our essential support staff. Highly trained and caring, each of us has a role to play in making this a special practice for you to visit with your pet.
Our team of highly dedicated and experienced veterinary surgeons and vet nurses are devoted to your pet's wellbeing. Your pets are always our priority. We all have our own pets and work hard to provide the same service to you that we would want for our own much-loved animals. At our surgery we provide continuity of care, working with you to provide effective and high quality treatment.
Many of our patients are receiving long term treatment and are eligible for 'repeat prescriptions'. Usually, we see these patients every six months, although for some conditions and often at the start of a new treatment, this may be more frequently. If your pet is due more of their usual medication, please contact us no less than 48-hours before you would like to collect this.
In the event of an emergency during our normal opening hours please call our surgery on 01252 616185 and you will be advised what to do next. If your call is during the night or at the weekend whilst our clinic is closed, please contact MiNightVet Wokingham on 01189 733466. MiNightVet Wokingham is our preferred emergency services partner.

Very friendly service both from reception and amongst the various vets that have looked after my two cats. They're all passionate animal lovers, but also highly professional. The covid procedures are very good. The vets will meet you outside to discuss your animal's needs, and there is the option to attend with your animals or wait outside when both parties are comfortable.

Left Fleet over 10 years ago but still go to Ark as I trust them not only to look after my pets, but not to overcharge me as do some in my local area. My cat was diagnosed with a long term illness and Sally took quite a bit of time on the phone with a comprehensive explanation of everything I needed to know, I was impressed with her care and patience. Trust this practice and wouldn't change.

Same day appointment for an out of area animal which was a pleasant surprise. The instructions were clear for seeing a vet given the current circumstances. The consultation in the car park was simple and effective and the phone call following assessment was clear and courteous. Follow up care was well explained and our pet was returned to us promptly.
Good value for money as well.
