Services
Our team of highly dedicated and experienced veterinary surgeons and veterinary nurses are devoted to your pet's wellbeing. Your pets are always our priority. We all have our own pets and work hard to provide the same service to you that we would want for our own much-loved animals. At our surgery we provide continuity of care, working with you to provide effective and high quality treatment.
In the event of an emergency during our normal opening hours please call your local Nine Mile veterinary clinic and you will be advised what to do next. If your call is during the night or at the weekend whilst our clinics are closed, please contact MiNightVet Wokingham on 0118 973 3466. MiNightVet out of hours cover is provided by our team of dedicated vets and nurses at our Wokingham hospital on Nine Mile Ride in Finchampstead.
Jean is our head vet at Ancells Veterinary Centre and has been a practising UK vet for over five years, gaining experience in a variety of practices all over the country prior to settling at Ancells in 2015. She worked initially as part of the emergency/out of hours team but is now full-time at Ancells during the day.
Rosie graduated from the University of Bristol in 2004 with distinction. After several years of working in small animal practice and a few years of travel and overseas work, Rosie joined Emmview Veterinary Centre in 2012, when it first opened. Rosie has a Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice in small animal dermatology, she has a passion for dermatology but also enjoys medical cases and being a general practitioner.
Having qualified from Edinburgh Vet School in 2005 she has worked in multiple small animal practices, all providing different challenges, but she was keen to take on a managerial role as well as continuing with her clinical work. Debbie is a GP at heart and relishes the variety this type of job has to offer, although particularly enjoying soft tissue surgery, geriatric feline medicine is also a favourite.

We’ve been with Ancells Veterinary Centre for 16 years and they’ve looked after all of our pets with a level of care that they would give their own much loved pets.
Personable approachable staff who are always delighted to see your little furry friends and who very quickly put each and every animal at ease.

Thank you for providing excellent care and treatment for my retriever over her 17 years. She was very healthy for most of her life but you were there with your expertise when I needed it in her last few years. And a big thanks for the help you've given me with all the other pets I've brought to you over the years, I'm sure there'll be more to come!
