Our function room is capable of catering for up to 200 guests and offers a private fully licenced bar and a large car park. With the stunning views across the grounds, we consider the Hotel to boast the best back drops for photos in the local area.

Great little hotel, in a nice quiet spot, but just off the main road and next to the river, quite amusing watching people trying to park their boats, while we had a drink in the bar. The two girls that served us throughout our 3 night stay, did the hotel proud and nothing was too much trouble. The quality of the food was great and we even saw an actor from the television staying there also on our first night. We would not hesitate to book there again.

Have used this hotel over many years when under different management; have arranged meetings to take place there and also lunches for groups; or simply visited for a drink and/or meal. Yesterday just popped in after going to Sutton Staithe Boatyard. We were welcomed in the usual good manner and seated at a table we had used on many visits. The food was first class and the service likewise. The layout of the building has changed slightly in a beneficial way and the decor greatly improved! Now that it is permitted, we shall be visiting on a more frequent basis.

We stayed one night, room 14. The room was clean and felt recently updated/decorated. The bed was comfy (firmish which I like) and big. I'm 6ft and had loads of room. The shower room was massive. Lovely view of the river from the window. The bar has a nice local pub vibe, lots of the local boat owners seem to use the bar, so it's got a nice atmosphere. The food was good. The service was fab. They really went out of their way to help.
