Went recently and the staff were pleasant enough but it is now very run down, cracked tiles, marks and stains in bathroom, broken panel on headboard, very noisy floorboards, just outdated in general, had to ask for the heating to be put on, it was November! luckily only spent 1 night.

Room is disgusting and dirty, mould in the wardrobe, wires hanging about and not safe. The best thing about this place is we are only here for one night Thank god.

Weird, dated, has a black mould issue. When you leave your room you have to leave your key with reception (very weird) in the morning we were woken up by a cleaner blaring music out of his phone speaker full blast. Super unprofessional - asked him to turn it off and he proceeded to continue playing his music. All in all a dreadful experience in a hotel that needs a total overhaul - avoid it, Travelodge is cleaner, quieter and not stuck in 1970. Also, the lift is a health and safety nightmare - if you have small children use the stairs as it’s a serious finger-trap issue with the sliding cageâ€

Fairly pleasant, was very disappointed after reading reviews to find out, there was no funky brown water. Everything clean, better than expected. Staff nice, could use renovation as Everything a bit old. Prerty happy.

It's the noisiest hotel I've ever stayed in, you can here the people in the room talking and moving about 2 doors down.
There was no Internet in the rooms upstairs even tho its advertised.
Also not very clean in the bathroom with mould on the walls.
The shower hardly pushed any water out to the point it was easier to have a wash in the sink.
Apart from that it was great.

Small room, brown water out of hot tap to start, TV didn't work, dirty, torn carpets in main areas and my bedroom. Total refurb well overdue. Breakfast is set price £8.95 even if all you have is toast! Good value for full breakfast. Bed comfortable, nice bedding. Friendly staff. Lift but cranky! Loads of free parking. Location good. Near railway station and football stadium.

Staff lovely and very helpful. Room is very outdated. Definitely needs a refurb but the bathroom is terrible. Toilet is stained and looks nasty, shower is rusty so I wouldn't use it. No lock on bathroom door and overall a bit gross. Unfortunately because of this I wouldn’t come back.

Review in the style of four in a bed
Hosts 7/10 friendly and helpful but an administration error almost led to us getting the wrong room
Cleanliness 2/10 grime around sink and taps, mould on tiles, cobwebs, dust but bedding fresh and clean though
Facilities - 3/10 mats covering holes in carpet, lack of warm water, flimsy wardrobe, poor fitting lino in bathroom, wall paper and border painted over. Foyer dining room and bar look fine but go up one flight of stairs..
How did you sleep 6/10 bed comfy, pillows rock hard
How was breakfast 7/10 decent breakfast and well cooked, warm juice in cartons

This hotel has a homely feel but is in need of a refresh which I understand is in the planning stages. There is plenty of parking, the staff are all friendly and helpful and the room I had although quite dated was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good value and there was plentiful it.

Very bad hotel as it has not been renovated since ages and it smells really bad because of the old dusty carpet that has been laid off everywhere. The stairs are very bad as some of the steps are broken and just hanging. No WiFi.
AVOID AT ALL COST.
