We put the children at the centre of all we do and our inclusive ethos caters for all their needs, including their safety and well-being. Starting school is the beginning of an important journey and we strive to provide firm foundations on which all children will build their future.

Services
At Whaley Thorns Primary School we all work incredibly hard to make sure our school is a welcoming place for the whole school community, where children's wellbeing, mental health and safety is our top priority. Our designated safeguarding lead is Mrs Lupton and Miss Slack is the deputy designated safeguarding leads.
As a school, we are ready and prepared to deliver remote learning for our child should the need ever arise due to a period of self-isolation, a bubble closure or another national lockdown. Every child in school has access to a SeeSaw account. This is where class teachers will upload work for them to complete.
