Reheated tough rice,
Dry chicken,
Unclear menu,
Rude staff and far overpriced!
Highly reccomend you look elsewhere for Chinese or any Asian cuisine.
Don't be fooled by the photos on the menu, or on here. The food is presented well but very poorly prepared. Left out whole dinner and went to wagamama instead. Unsurprisingly, far better food for far less price.

Food was really good but let down by the poor service. Waited an hour our food. No apology and not even a thank you when we paid the bill :(

We love our weekend dim sum lunches here so much that it was the restaurant we picked for our in laws to meet for the first time! Some of the best Peking duck we've had in London!

The worst Singaporean-stile verimicelli!!!
I love Chinese food, on my way to work decided to try these restorant.
Posh inside on my walk in, bad approached by waiter and took the order.
The worst presentation and poor ingredients inside (only 90% rice noodles) and was like 80% full of the takeaway box?!?!
For a restaurant in the Paddington station area was expecting for 9.50£ at least good presentation and quality..
I will not recommend it unfortunately!!

Food was yummy! Prawn ravioli noodle soup amazing and pork & watercress dumplings. Cocktails were excellent too, especially the Mandarin Bellini - you won’t be disappointed!

Lovely food, lovely staff! It was hands down the best tofu I have ever had. We were 4 people that all had a starter and main and wine, and it was still only £110, so very impressed with the price too (for good food in London) 😄

Really good service, attentive and friendly all night. Food was good - esp the Peking Duck. Found the sauce for the lobster noodle wasn't as flavourful as similar dishes in other restaurants but based on the peking duck, we will be back.

Bit of a weird place. The pork skin, the hardest thing to get right, was almost perfect. It was crispy, and no hint of chewy fat. The duck tasted good as well. However, the fried rice was really soggy and wet. The vegetables were tasteless! No idea where they get their “garlic sauce” from, but it tasted like water. The pork flesh had a weird taste. Finally, service was poor. It doesn’t matter that you dress in suits if we have to wait 10 minutes for a glass of water. 10 minutes for a spoon and another 20 minutes for the bill... wouldn’t recommend.

While visiting London, I was trying to grab lunch before boarding train. This restaurant happened to be right next to the Paddington station and I figured, instead of getting a pastry from Costa why not try something different? I was a little hesitant before going in because their front door looks a whole lot like PF Cheng, one or those "Americanized Chinese food", but once I walked inside the restaurant I was consistently amazed by every little thing.

1. Fantastic decor, I haven't seen a bathroom this nice ever since I landed.

2. Great menu. Lots of food choices, beautiful menu

We booked a table for 2 at this place during lunchtime as we wanted to have Dim Sum. We got there and got the impression this place wouldn't be authentic at all and started being very concerned. We sat, ordered our food, a very rude waitress took the order and then, after a little while, the food started arriving. What an amazing surprise it was. The food was trully incredible. The xiao long bao had a lot of soup inside and the deep fried custard buns were nothing like we've ever tasted before. The cheung fung was the best we ever had and the world literally became perfect for a while

Chinese dim sum near Little Venice in England? Sign me up -- this is what London is all about!

Having grown up in San Francisco where you can find dim sum places throughout the city, I find myself craving a little part of home every now and then in my adopted home of Germany. Let's just say that discovering Pearl Liang during my vacation to London has been the most authentic experience so far.

Admittedly, the restaurant is a bit hard to get to, though it should be convenient if you want to plan a stroll by the canals on a nice day or work in the area. I immediately noticed the tastefully

Super. Yummy. This Chinese taste lightly flavoured, not so oily but healthy. Staffs are all attentive and kind.

Always eaten at Pearl Liang every time we visit London but yesterday food was less than average and service was rude and lousy. Do I want to pay good money to have below average food coupled with rude service...what do you think?

Quality decor, suitable for business lunches and dinners (as we could tell during our visit where several dinner tables were comprised of after work groups.)

We started with an excellent bowl of lobster and puréed spinach soup, which had several big chunks of lobster and was a nice almost fusiony dish. Then ordered for our family the half Peking duck, which was well trimmed, moist and fresh and had plenty of thin pancakes and julienned cucumber and scallions. Also a silken tofu with crab and egg in a light white sauce...super fresh tofu and a gentle dish to cleanse the palate between duck bites

Excellent food and service. Other than Royal China, it was the best quality dim sum I've ever had. I gave it 4 stars because it is somewhat pricey. I would definitely return. The dining room was nicely decorated and the service was very good. The food was delicious and we ordered a large variety of dim sum. It can be a little hard to find but the area was nice and we took a walk along the water after lunch.

I think in terms of a London dim sum spot, it hits all the right notes for me:
- Good texture on dim sum, nice portion size, yummy!
- Attentive service, though we had a 12pm reservation, right at the opening time
- Decently priced (slightly cheaper than Royal China): We ordered 6 portions of dim sum and 1 portion of prawn toast. The Prawn Toast, though delicious, was not on the dim sum menu and a whopping £8.90. At Royal China we ordered 3-4 portions of dimsum and 1 noodle dish (about the same price as PL PT) and spent roughly the same.

Husband loves the crispy duck at this place and since his office is nearby, they have had quite a few team lunches here.

Last week, there were reindeer at Paddington Central, so he called to let us know - Yay Reindeer! and said we could grab quick lunch together.

Pearl Liang was quite crowded and had a few Christmas parties on. We weren't too hungry, so we ordered half a crispy duck, the soft shell crab & spare ribs in paper. The crab was good, but I found the duck & the pancakes too dry. The spare ribs, weren't falling off the bone and were slightly harder/drier on the surface

We loved the food here - had a combination of appetizers followed by way too much Dim Sum. Everything was really good. Loved the shrimp and scallop dim sum and both the roasted and steamed varieties. The waitress was sweet and mostly attentive. The person who dropped (and i do mean dropped) the food at the table was hurried and short. That's OK. We got her to smile later. We had some leftovers and they made for a great late night snack. Recommended!!

We have friends that really rate this place! I've been here a few times and while I think it's OK, but it could definitely be better.

On this occasion we had booked for a group of 7 and a baby. We arrived on time, which was also when it was opening. We weren't the first people so we had to join a que, a little bit annoying to join a que for an empty restaurant! They could have set up before opening to ensure a smoother operation. We were seated fairly quickly after that but on a table that was in direct line of the door and the breeze coming through it. Like I mentioned before,

This is a pretty great Chinese place

I am a fan of their roast duck and steamed fish, both are really good.

The menu kind of runs the gambit and the location is a bit weird being in an office park but the foods good and pretty authentic.

Well executed dim sum in a somewhat strange location. Service was great, and the service staff was on point on cleaning up empty steamer baskets and refilling the tea pot. Even though the restaurant was crowded on a Sunday, they weren't pushy about getting us out.

Highlights included the fried chrysanthemum custard buns (炸菊花奶皇包) and the scallop siu mai (帶子燒賣). While this is one of the better places to get dim sum in London, I can't give it 5-stars since it feels like dim sum from the 90's. I'm a big fan of the "newer" dishes like XO daikon
