Life can be really tough at times - and it is human to have an emotional response to pain and distress.

So if you are anxious, stressed out, deeply unhappy or sad, or have a major problem you cannot resolve - I can help. I will work sympathetically with you at your own pace, helping you to fully understand your feelings and to find clarity and solutions, whilst supporting you through change, to reach positive and sometimes life changing outcomes.

Loved ones may have tried to make you see what you are doing to yourself or others - with little or no results. If you have failed to reach out for help but recognised some of the above; the chances are you are in denial. You may argue and dispute others opinions - and at this point relationships can become severely if not irreversibly damaged.
We have a natural tendency to develop close intimate and intense relationships with a few select individuals. This may lead to long-term commitment or marriage which can bring joy and happiness. However, difficulties in relationships are one of the most common causes of unhappiness, and often brings people into therapy.
Once you enter into counselling it becomes a little easier. You maybe a little anxious as the appointment approaches, but once you arrive; my therapy room is a safe welcoming space for you. During our first meeting I will give you space and time, to explain to me what made you decide to make contact.
Cognitive behavioural therapy skills are extremely useful for helping clients to manage many aspects of their condition. However, I use a variety of theoretical frameworks, depending on the individual client needs. I take G.P and psychiatric referrals and I am registered with private healthcare providers.
Do not kid yourself you are bullet proof - no one is. Don't think being emotional or stressed is weakness - it is not (It's a normal human response). Do not start to think that showing emotion or seeking help, makes you weak - utter tosh! Do not think all 'high achievers' have it all under control.
