We are a parkland golf course located in the north of Glasgow (just five miles from Glasgow City Centre) in the suburb of Bearsden. Douglas Park Golf Club is a welcoming, forward-thinking, modern golf club. We offer an excellent membership experience, no matter what the age or ability of our members. We have a vibrant junior golf coaching programme as well as being recognised for our 'Get into Golf' offering, specifically designed for those golfers who are looking to take up the game of golf.
As well as being a great members club, we also offer a fantastic visitor experience, whether it is through the excellent condition and presentation of our course or the other facilities we offer at the club, such as a new indoor swing studio or our recently refurbished clubhouse, with our superb food and beverage facilities.

Services
The clubhouse stands very prominently over-looking the 1st tee and 18th green with a panoramic view of the Campsie Hills in the distance. The main lounge is on the first floor with an adjacent small dining room and Snug Bar. The lounge is furnished comfortably and informally but can be adapted to accommodate dinners for about 100 people.
The club continues to invest heavily in its clubhouse facility, ensuring that our members, their guests and visitors to the club have all the comforts they would expect to find at a modern golf club. We have full disabled access all throughout our clubhouse, including ramps and an internal lift to easily transport wheelchair users from the ground to the 1st floor.
Douglas Park GC has a great reputation for their catering and is quite often the 'go to' place for our members when they want to relax in comfortable surroundings and enjoy a meal with their friends and family. Our restaurant can cater for lone diner all the way through to large parties and social events, nothing is too much trouble for them.
As a club, Douglas Park Golf Club have never been afraid to invest in their facilities in order to augment the 'member experience', this is core to our beliefs and what we aspire to provide the members of the golf club, which is the best clubhouse and course that we possibly can. This investment is evident in the recent 'Swing Studio' that has been installed at the club.
Although only eleven people attended, they resolved that evening to do just that. Within 14 weeks they had taken a lease of the ground, had the land drained and constructed a 9-hole course. The railway to Milngavie had opened in 1863 and membership of Douglas Park mushroomed when a station was built at Hillfoot almost adjacent to the course.

A great way to start another hectic week. Agronomy visit at Douglas Park Golf Club. Great golf course and a club management policy that is forward thinking and progressive in practice. A club ahead of the game at the moment. I can’t thank Drew enough for his assistance. @striturf @striturf_gary#informed:thought:makes:progress.

Lovely golf course. Pity the greens were pole forked but they weren't too bad. A lot of rain in the preceding few days yet the course was surprisingly firm underfoot. The picture with the flag was the 12th a short 110 yds par 3. But by God it's some strep slope. Enjoyed it. Staff in pro shop were super. Cheers Sean B.

Members invited my husband and I for lunch on 16 May. I
enjoyed the whole experience from beginning to end. The dining room was large and beautifully decorated with
magnificent large windows looking on to the golf course, the food was delicious, freshly cooked AND HOT, I loved the fact that it was not a large menu (freezer to microwave). I hope our friends invite us back.
Thank you again, Cath Wright

I don't play golf and have no interest in it. I was at the cemetery adjoining it as the Antonine wall run's through it, and runs through the golf course also. The golf course has destroyed any last visual signs of the wall. As I'm a big fan of the Antonine wall you may understand why I'm so resentful of the golf course.
