Cambuslang Golf Club
Founded in 1892, Cambuslang has played a full part in the history of golf in Scotland over many years. We are still probably unique in having not one but two ex-Scottish champions amongst our members, our late President John S. Montgomerie who won at Royal Aberdeen in 1957 and Craig Everett who won at Gullane in 1990.

Situated just south-east of Glasgow, Cambuslang offers a pleasant golfing experience, in gently rolling, tree-lined surroundings with the River Clyde flowing close by the northern boundary of the club. The opening of the new extension of the M74 motorway has brought the club within easy access of Glasgow (15 minutes from the City Centre) and surrounding areas, exiting at junction 2A Southbound.
Services
The course is a sparsely wooded, feature packed, inland nine-hole course that's located close to most transport routes in the south eastern suburbs of Glasgow. Under 5 minutes from junction 2A of the new M74 motorway. Founded in 1892, the course is a very inviting nine hole test and will ensure you use most of your shot making ability on practically every hole.

As a soon to be former member of this club I have to say it's a nice enough course, however as its now managed by accounts it has lost its way with customer service.
Watch out for their misleading website advertising as this has led to a lack of trust & transparency from a number of members. (See Attached Photo) you only actually receive a £20 Bar Levy, this was changed at the start of 2021 without notice to these members.
This may not sound a lot but hoodwinking your members/customers saying fees haven't increased when they clearly have is not good business, This is one of a number of reason

After a very cold dry spring the course is patchy, with a spell of warmer weather the signs for good growth, especially the greens, looks good. 🏌‍♀️

Great 9 hole course. It's just the time of the year. Had it been further into spring and a bit firmer under foot it would have got 5 stars.

Enjoyable late summer knock.
Played as a visitor with a member and im glad I did. Its a bit tough to follow the course due to overlapping fairways and tee boxes all over the place.
That said, great condition, great greens and a testing course for anyone who doesn't find the fairways.
Fair rates and brilliantly located next to the motorway.

A wee hidden gem in the middle of South Lanarkshire. 9 holes so ideal for a quick hit or the 18 to try and take advantage of seeing the pins first time around.

Best course around. More challenging than you'd think. Keep the grubby hands off those who want to sell it.
