The Williamwood Golf Club is delighted to announce the appointment of Matthew Burt as our new Club Professional. Matthew completed his PGA training at Helensburgh Golf Club under PGA Professional Fraser Hall. He brings a wealth of knowledge having tutored every level of golfer from Elite Amateurs to beginners of golf.
With the GC2, you can practice or play golf in any environment with equally trusted results. The portable GC2's exclusive self-leveling technology provides verifiably accurate results on every surface and on every shot. Indoors, the GC2 produces the most accurate measurements of ball characteristics at launch.
Set within 92 acres of rolling parkland, The Williamwood Golf Club incorporates all of the original features of the course designed in 1906 by James Braid. In 2010 the course was extended by nearly 200 yards and a second par five hole was created which resulted in the standard scratch score being increased to 70.
The Williamwood Golf Club welcomes societies and visiting parties all year round. We can cater for groups of all sizes and are able to offer several different golf and catering packages to suit your requirements. The club is the perfect venue for your golf outing and visitors will enjoy the friendly atmosphere on the course and around the clubhouse.
Members can hire the clubhouse for private functions such as anniversaries, birthday parties, graduations etc and we can arrange daytime conference facilities. Reciprocal golf - Members can take advantage of reciprocal golf at reduced rates. As members of the Association of James Braid courses, members may play at other James Braid clubs by arrangement.

This is the place I brought my girlfriend 6 years ago after an unplanned train trip. We were completely soaked by the rain. We did not have memberships to the club but members were nice and let us in. We had a nice hot drink at the café/bar inside. I hope to come back there to hit some golf balls with my wife. Yes I marrying that girl in 3 days - 20 June 2020
