Steps Community Nursery has been providing a service for local families since 1998. We are based at the High Green Community Campus, set in large grounds adjacent to Westwood Country Park, north east of Sheffield. We provide quality care & education for children from the age of six months and up to the age of 5. We welcome all children into our caring, homely, safe environment, to play and learn in a happy, relaxed atmosphere.
We are registered to receive Early Learning Funding for 3 & 4 year olds, and eligible 2 year olds. Nail on the head by @gabyhinsliff! I thought I'd introduce myself, my name is Lauren and this week I joined HGDT as your Community Engagement Manager.

Services
We have a hard working, dedicated team of staff, who work closely with families to meet the individual needs of every child. The majority of our staff have been with us for many years and are parents themselves. All have a wide range of qualifications, knowledge, and valuable experience of working with young children, including those with additional needs.
In the Yellow room we provide a wide range of activities for children to play, explore, and develop, gaining the experience for later learning. Our timetable and weekly plans are flexible to meet the needs of the children. We ask you to complete a Care Sheet for your child/ baby and we fit in with their routine as far as we are able to.
