Counselling is a place for you to be you. Free from judgement, it is a place for you to look at thoughts and issues which have been established over many years, to examine how they came to be and any problems which have arisen as a result.

Through engaging in the therapeutic process and slowly opening in a constructive manner, it is possible to gain insight to these behaviour patterns, exploring how to change them into something more useful and productive.Counselling is charged at the rate of 70 in Cambridge and 100 in London for a 50 minute session and with concessions available.
Services
All counselling is confidential: there is never any contact to family members and anything you say will strictly remain within the room provided there is no risk of harm to self or others. I engage in regular supervision to ensure continuation of best practice. Most counselling sessions are weekly and last for 50 minutes.
What is transgender? A much easier question to ask than answer! Transgenderism involves everything from wearing clothing of the opposite sex to seeking full gender reassignment. People might choose to identify as "transsexual", "transvestite", "cross-dresser" or simply refer to themselves to their gender.
Exploring sexuality can be frightening. Discovering you are attracted to the same sex can lead to isolation, depression, segregation and fear as well as opportunity and excitement; suddenly, the whole world can seem daunting and new. Do we tell, do we stay silent and how do we act around those who know us?
There are different opinions over whether a diagnosis is helpful or hindrance and whether or not it helps a person to express any struggles. There are also many who identify as being on the spectrum who are denied or are unable to acquire such a diagnosis.

Whatever the case, counselling can create a relationship to help you explore who you are as an individual and explore practical ways to help the outside world become more accessible at a pace that is right for you.Since being on the spectrum covers an umbrella of different symptoms, it is important to note that individuals will always differ.
Supervision allows a safe, confidential space to explore your work, feelings and approach towards your clients. Sometimes this means allowing space to think of clients, dilemmas and offload any difficult or painful issues, yet at others it can mean thinking about you, and explore any difficulties you may be encountering.
