This is the highest outcome possible under the more rigorous new inspection framework and replaces the 'Outstanding' grade of the previous one. This is a tremendous achievement for our whole school community and fully recognises all of the hard work of those involved. How effective is the school's distinctive Christian vision, established and promoted by leadership at all levels, in enabling pupils and adults to flourish?
The school decided to retain a service which is non-profit making and self-financing following the withdrawal of school meals in Somerset schools. The Food Safety Act 1990 requires the school to operate a management system called 'Assured Safe Catering'. Legislation determines that we must adhere to published nutritional standards, thereby ensuring a healthy and balanced daily meal.
As the world in which we live becomes more and more connected, children have increasing access to resources and online activities. It is therefore of paramount importance that we support children in making informed and educated decisions about the content that they access and the time that they spend online, and that we support you, as parents in ensuring access outside school is both safe and secure.
