On behalf of the pupils, staff and Governors of Keinton Mandeville Primary School, I would like to offer you a warm welcome. Keinton Primary is a fully inclusive, thriving rural school; we educate over 150 boys and girls in a broad, balanced and creative curriculum. We aim for every child to enjoy and become immersed in their education, enabling them to find their skills and passions as they pass through our school.

We focus on our core values, which encourage children to become independent, have self-belief, while being compassionate and respectful. Our core aim is to create good people, who will go out in to the wider world and strive to make it a better place. At Keinton Mandeville Primary School, our mission is to ensure that we believe in ourselves, think for ourselves and never give up on our learning or our dreams.
Services
Keinton Primary is a fully inclusive, thriving, rural school; we educate over 150 boys and girls in a broad, balanced and creative curriculum. We pride ourselves on enabling every child to achieve their potential, whatever that potential may be. Our Core Values encourage children to become independent learners, working with determination and energy towards their goals.
We work closely with our neighbouring schools to ensure the very best education for all children in the area. Alongside the main Secondary school, Ansford Academy, we work with the other main Primary schools: Countess Gytha, Ditcheat, Evercreech, Castle Cary, Lovington and North Cadbury, so we offer a consistent and effective journey into secondary education.
At Keinton Mandeville Primary School the health, safety and wellbeing of every child is our top priority. We expect all staff, Governors, parent/carers and visitors to share this commitment to safeguarding our pupils. Safeguarding the children at Keinton Mandeville Primary School is an essential part of our work, safe, confident, happy children make the most effective learners!
After reading through the parent's questionnaires in the summer we noted that a large amount of parents were not aware of the role of a Governor. We therefore thought we would share some of the things we do. If you would like to be a school governor please contact the Head teacher to find out about any vacancies.
Our primary concern is that all individuals, irrespective of their background, make outstanding academic progress in order that they can secure good standards. Track and assess progress at least termly and take appropriate action where progress is not sufficient. Planned interventions for pupils who are making insufficient progress or who are failing to meet the required standards.
