As we are a small nursery we are able to offer children and their families a warm, friendly and reassuring environment in which children can grow and learn at a pace that suits them. Every child is unique and will explore, investigate and learn in their individual way. Our team of qualified long term staff have worked together consistently for many years.

Services
Broad Oak has a key person system helping us to build positive relationships, not only with the child but with parents and carers whose knowledge and input is paramount to their child's learning and development. Each room is divided into age groups; the youngest group is from 3 months up until 19-24 months.
Our next age group is for toddlers of approximately 18 -24 months up to 3 years of age. Again this is a large bright room where children are able to explore and experience a variety of rich and stimulating learning opportunities to encourage their self-esteem and confidence in a positive way. We provide an enabling environment with areas of provision and resources that are at the children's level so that can choose and play independently.
The final age group is for pre-school children aged from three to five. It is set out similarly to the toddler room but has a little more challenge for children of this age to explore and investigate. Staff in this room ensure that children are prepared for the transition to "Big School".
Through a balance of self-initiated choices and positive adult interaction we will encourage the children to become independent, happy and confident enough to go on and explore what life has to offer.Through continuous observation we are able to discover every child's interests and abilities which enable us to create a rich and stimulating environment both inside and outside.
