Woodstone Community Primary School
Here at Woodstone we are very committed to ensuring children enjoy their learning. Together with the governors, parents and carers we are dedicated to ensuring that EVERY child is valued as an individual and given the opportunities to share and develop their own strengths and talents. This website is designed to give you as much information about our school as possible.

You will find policies, information about the curriculum and learning in the classrooms, how the school operates and much more but it is difficult to convey in a website our warm and welcoming ethos or atmosphere. We therefore, encourage prospective parents and children to visit the school. We are rightly proud of our school and the fabulous environment, both inside and out that we have created.
Services
Our Prospectus is a handy summary of many aspects of life here at Woodstone. It will provide you with useful contact details, an insight into the curriculum as well as some information on practical matters such as school uniform, school dinners etc. We hope you find it useful and if you have any suggestions on how we can improve it further please don't fail to contact the school office.
Through our School Lottery we hope to raise funds that can help us to enrich the education of our children and support projects to benefit not only our school, but our community. At the moment we are saving up for a new outdoor classroom. The lottery is a fun way for our Parents, staff, family and friends to help us achieve our fundraising targets and who knows you might be the next jackpot winner!
Woodstone Community Primary School is a welcoming, supportive and inclusive school and it is important that all members of the school community work together. We are proud of our good reputation and we depend on the entire school community to help us maintain and improve our children's learning. We are very fortunate to have supportive and friendly parents and carers.
Our class teachers are Miss Clement and Mrs Leaney and we are supported in class by Miss Hollingsworth and Mrs O'Neill. This half term our topic is 'Dinosaur Planet'. It's really important your child reads regularly at home. We have a weekly reading raffle where we celebrate the children's reading at home.
Our class teacher is Miss Barnes and we are supported by Mrs Hall and Mrs Hughes. Mr Mullins teaches our class on a Wednesday morning. Miss Davies will also be volunteering in our classroom this year while she is completing her teaching assistant qualification. Our lunchtime supervisors are Mrs Hughes and Mrs Whetton.
