I've stayed in a lot of holiday cottages, but this was the closest to a real home. Very well equipped for my family and I. Moses basket, travel cot, high chair, stair gates etc. Kids discovered the sky Disney movie channel and were able to play outside safely. Champagne flutes and wine glasses helped to fuel the family celebration.

Ideally situated for a Kent coast countryside holiday, the Hayloft at Chislet is situated on the historic Chislet Marshes, a haven for birdwatchers with sightings of Egrets, Marsh Harriers and Swans. Chislet is a great base for walkers and cyclists, with public rights of way to many local villages with traditional pubs offering a welcome stop en route.

This was our second time to stay at the hayloft as we liked it so much the first time. It didn't disappoint. I like to walk in the beautiful Kent countryside and I was spoilt for choice. I posted a few pictures on Google. We have a one and a half and 3 and a half year old and the house had everything we needed for them including stair gates and travel cots. They loved "Billy" and "Alfie" the beautiful horses next door. We all enjoyed sitting outside for lunch at the gate inn pub 5 min walk away. We did a trip to reculver which was 5 mins away in the car. I loved the towers and remains of a Roman
