A gently undulating, tree-lined, parkland course that is reaping the benefits of a tree-planting programme from many years previous allowing the course to continue to develop through to present day. The course records are a magnificent 60 (amateur) and 62 (professional), which will take some beating but, such is the enjoyment of the course, you're guaranteed to have great fun in trying.

Hayston Golf Club was founded in 1926 amid raging controversy that split the town of Kirkintilloch and it's community. It all came about because of 'the demon drink'. In 1921, after a poll of the 12,000 population, it was decreed that all pubs in Kirkintilloch be closed and that the town should become 'dry'.
Hayston Golf Club presently has a number of vacancies within the different membership categories. Entry Fees are subject to periodic 'Special Offers' and if you are considering joining Hayston Golf Club you are encouraged to speak with our General Manager Paul Hubner to discuss what may be available.
Our Catering Manager will be happy to discuss any individual requirements that you may have by calling the Club on 0141-775-0723. Would you like to arrange prizes and make your day a little more special? We have goods ready for you with our PGA Professional Scott Clelland available for any advice on retail.
Our head professional Scott Clelland joined us in 2016 and has built a fantastic reputation in the West of Scotland for his coaching and club fitting skills. Awarded the title of Fellow PGA Professional in 2018, Scott is the youngest to have received this award and is testament to his efforts to grow participation and club membership at Hayston whilst growing his own reputation as a coach.

First time there -ever- despite being a Kirkie person all my days.
Attending a family funeral so not the greatest occasion to help evaluate the service etc.
Nice place, not too posh like some golf course venues I have been to.
Great service from a -whippy- barmaid who ran about taking orders with great gusto.
Catering purvey was fine for what we had arranged. Staff very attentive brining extra plates of food and more drinks where needed.
Plenty of parking. Good facilities on site.

Nice course layout.
Tees, fairways and greens were in excellent condition.
We booked through Golfnow to get a decent rate.
It was relatively quiet when we played, although a group suddenly appeared in front of us out of nowhere which slowed us down a bit.
Disappointingly the bells to let the players following know that it was safe to hit were not being used by the group in front.
Well worth a visit.
