Services
A restaurant to be renowned it does not necessarily have to be a Michelin starred. Our philosophy is to satisfy the palate of all our customers, even the most demanding, remaining tied to the typical and simple recipes of our Grandmothers, who were able to satisfy the tastes of all with simple and genuine products keeping costs under control.
A complimentary glass of house wine (red, white or Rose') or a pint of beer when having a two courses meal. Please mention to the waiter when ordering which of the offers you would like to take. Our private room can provide an ideal space for intimate dinners or cocktails parties. With no additional charges you and your Guests will enjoy the traditional Italian cuisine in a private and welcoming environment like your home.

Giovanni's is a friendly small restaurant within a very short walking distance of the Montcalm Royal London House hotel. I was immediately greeted by someone at the door, and though set up as a sit-in restaurant, they took my to-go order. I wanted a sausage pizza, and they easily accepted to substitute my sausage for the spicy salami.

Ten minutes later I had a hot thin crust pizza for my trek back to the hotel. The pizza was well made with a crispy bottom crust and plenty of melted cheese. Pizza was delicious, but nothing special to make it standout in flavors, however it was exactly

This is London's best kept secret when it comes to Italian food. It is not in a touristy area like Soho, so most people are not going to stumble upon it. If you are willing to take a cab for 10 mins, you too can experience the magic that is Giovanni's. The portions are excellent and the food is top notch.

It is an awesome spot for people who know about it, and now you do.

This is our last night in London as DNA Insights Team so we went to the best little Italian in London.

The service was a little stayed to begin with but when Tony arrived the service was outstanding.

The food was simple, yet extremely tasty. With there being 8 of us there was plenty of selection. Everyone was delighted. Reasonable cost and first time we felt the service card was worthy.

I work near here and occasionally pop in on a business lunch as it is convenient. The food is fine, the service is fine, the surroundings are fine.

I wouldnt go out of my way to go there, however I never mind going there to eat.

Its fine. Best and worst I can say. Maybe a little overpriced

I visit Giovanni's occasionally because my office is nearby, and it's an easy place to take a group on short notice. It's an expansive Italian menu, almost to the point of overwhelming. The pastas I've had have been average at best, and the bread they serve the table isn't great. My dining companions have ordered some impressive-looking calzones that they enjoyed, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there. The service is spotty, although when the waiters actually make an appearance they're generally friendly.

Don't be put off by other reviewers, while pricey this is a very authentic tasting Italian restaurant. The ravioli was delicious and the bruschetta as good as I've had since coming back from Sicily. I was here with a colleague for a Monday lunch, so it wasn't too busy, but the service was very personable.

A pretty good Italian. Went there with a few colleagues. It's cosy, but a bit dark. There are screens showing football if you can't get into a pub. Starters are a bit pricey being almost as much as a main meal, but the main meals are more Italian style. Pasta and pizza's are available as well.

Decent enough Italian between Moorgate and Old Street stations.

The restaurant is particularly notable for the Italian lager, Messina, which I had never heard of but was a very nice pint. Very light and drinkable. I have it on good authority that it is both hoppy and grainy. I found it to be an above average lager.

I enjoyed my pizza and I'm pretty sure I once had some good pasta here too. If I go back it would be more likely to be for the drink though.
