There are various things happening throughout the year to help us celebrate our Golden anniversary at Torrance House. We have special offers for new members whether you have been a previous member or are brand new to Torrance House, with juniors joining for free. The Clubhouse is located next to the attractive buildings of Torrance House itself, a 15th Century Tower House which forms the focal point of the park and golf course.
We welcome visitors world wide to share the golfing traditions and excellent facilities that have been enjoyed by our members for generations. Our shop is now live, we have a number of many different Jumpers, Zippers, Polos (available in various different colours) along with Golf Towels, Umbrellas, Pitch Forks, Markers and Hats and golf balls.

Services
Torrance House Golf Course is a municipal course run by South Lanarkshire Leisure and they should be contacted in the first instance to book visiting parties or individual rounds of golf. Torrance House Golf Club is located on the Southern edge of East Kilbride, close to the A726 (East Kilbride to Strathaven Road) with good access and vehicle parking.
We welcome visitors world-wide to share the golfing traditions that have been enjoyed by our members for generations. Our excellent facilities include a practice putting area, a full practice area with 2 bunkers, Golf locker rooms (with visitors having the use of the one at the starters office). Bar and restaurant facilities to allow you the chance of refreshments before or after your game of Golf.
If you are at the park and fancy a drink why not come in and ask about our silver card membership. Its only 25.00 for the year and 20.00 of that goes on your card so you can start using it as soon as your card comes through. In the meantime relax and have a drink or something to eat while you are waiting for your card to come through.
The new season is almost upon us. The Club is filling up, the Course is looking to be in great shape, so lets hope the Golf is too. We are in the process of upgrading our clubhouse, a great deal of work has gone into this so far, The Ladies locker room, The "New" Junior room, New Male lockers, lots of new signs, all on the back of the refurbishments undertaken on the toilets.
We have negotiated with Glenmuir directly to bring you a varied range of items at an affordable price. Many different Jumpers, Zippers, Polos (available in various different colours) along with Golf Towels, Umbrellas, Pitch Forks, Markers and Hats. We have noticed that Glenmuir items (excluding polos) are smaller made, so we would recommend going a size up.

Put a post on before about being a nice course with some difficult holes, they are all difficult for me!! Price was a bit expensive for a public course. Phoned the other day for a tee time. Before midday, during the week, £20.55. From noon onwards,£10.55!!! I was looking for a tee off time of half ten, eleven. So I waited an hour. A tenner is a tenner! Asked about the pay difference, no explanation. Definitely worth a visit after midday!

Please note, this Review is for
Fairmont -Torrance Golf Course , St Andrews.
The Greens left me disappointed , despite only played at weekends , the were very sandy and quite bare. The staff in the pro shop were very nice and welcoming. The course was hard in sections, but not impossible, even for a high handicapper, another course ticked off the Golf course bucket list.
