Plumcroft Primary School
Watch this space for news about how to apply for places. Plumcroft is a five-form entry school located on two sites. The Plum Lane Campus is on the side of Shooters Hill in Plumstead and the Vincent Road Campus is in the heart of Woolwich. We are a diverse and friendly community, who love to celebrate our differences as well as sharing joint interests.

Our school population is made up of a number of different traditions and backgrounds and we hold regular community events in order to recognise and celebrate these varied cultures.
Services
Following various development meetings within the school community we decided on two key drivers for improvement, namely; "Knowing Every Child" and "Universal High Expectations of All & Self". Year 1 to Year 6 - 90%+ at or above Age Related Expectation (NRSS 85+ with a significant proportion at or above NRSS of 115+ (Gifted & Talented) in Reading, Writing, Maths & GPS (Grammar, Punctuation & Spelling).
I would like to extend a warm welcome to Plumcroft Primary School where I have been a Governor since 2016. I've been Chair of Governors since 2020. The Governors of Plumcroft oversee the work of the Headteacher and Senior Management Team who are responsible for the day-to-day running of the school.
All nursery children to arrive and be collected through the nusery entance located on Nithdale Road. If you are not entitled to the 30 hours free childcare, we offer the opportunity to top up your child's 15 hours free entitlement. The cost of this is 75 per week and includes a school dinner every day.
We offer a total of 70 nursery places daily comprising of part-time and full time spaces. We operate a waiting list when the nursery is full. Normal admissions criteria apply with 1st preference given to 'Looked After Children' who are in the care of a Local Authority, next are children with a Statement of Need, then siblings and then proximity to the school.
Plumcroft School are committed to ensuring that all Pupil Premium children do as well academically as children who do not receive Pupil Premium. Another objective of ours is to provide Pupil Premium children with a wider understanding of the outside world by offering opportunities the children may not receive at home.
