I am proud to be the Executive Headteacher of Invicta, a happy and vibrant 2 site primary school which celebrates the diversity of its community. I work with a dedicated and talented team to provide a friendly, caring and inclusive learning environment where our children can feel safe, supported and happy so that they can be successful in their learning.
We are creative in our approaches to learning and encourage children's creativity as well as inspiring their curiosity at the beginning of their journey as lifelong learners. I hope very much that you will enjoy looking through our website. If you are a prospective parent or carer please read the messages below from the fantastic Heads of our sites at Deptford and Blackheath, and take a look at our virtual tours too.

Services
To provide a stimulating learning & teaching environment where every child and adult has the opportunity to enjoy the moment and prepare for their future. At Invicta we aim to inspire children's curiosity, in and beyond the moment, through a focus on creativity, physical activity and emotional health & wellbeing.
The standard of both attainment and progress at our school is high; our pupils consistently perform above the national average in all areas and we strive to continuously improve our results over time. We set high expectations and aspirations for our children; this is shown through how well our children make progress during their time at our school.
Invicta works hard at engaging pupils through collaborative partnership between the parent, the school and the local authority. Our aim is to make your child's school life a happy and enjoyable experience. To support your child's education parents and carers have an important role to play in ensuring this happens therefore it is important that you ensure your child attends school regularly and on time.
Our review was led by an Ofsted Lead inspector and a team of 3 experienced school leaders. A Challenge Partners review is different from other external inspections such as Ofsted and Local Authority reviews. The review's focus is on teaching and learning, and does not consider areas such as safeguarding or governance and its outcomes so is not directly comparable to an Ofsted inspection.
Our Governing Body is made up of twelve people with a range of different skills and experiences. We are a mix of those with a connection to our school as teachers, parents or grandparents and those who bring a completely external perspective. Our job is to work with the Senior Leadership Team to make sure we run the school in the best way for our whole school community.
